Good guy, if you fall behind he will help you catch up, no questions asked. Between the 3 tests, the final, and the 4 extra credit assignments, this course was a breeze. I literally only read the chapters and still passed my tests.

Professor Gillikin is a very good professor. Biology is not an easy class. Take the time to really study the material (you will need the book) and take notes in class, and you will do well. His exams are not easy, but the review sheet he gives out is very thorough.

Craig is an awesome teacher. Though, very principled in his approach, he facilitates true academic growth for all his students. His tests are not the easiest, but they are fair. He gives great lectures, and always gives a review sheet before the test.

Gives a lot of extra credit but doesn't care about attedance. He is willing to help students. Very hard tests, 3 test 1 final. no more grandes, only test and final. no quiz, no homework, no lab ONLY TESTS!

Very nice guy, willing to help. His lectures are ok, he teaches his general biology classes as if we were ALL majoring in biology. Exams are hard, but all questions come from what he teachers. He gives reviews, and the final is comprehensive. Attendance is a must for class and Lab! Study, study! :)

Very straightforward teacher. If you pay attention in class and take notes the tests come straight from his lectures. I only had to look at the textbook one time because he assigned a little bit of homework from it.

Professor Gillikin was a great guy and always willing to help but his class was very difficult. He was late by a few minutes to every class and then took attendance which took even more time. 3 exams 1 final and lab attendance split 20% each of your total grade. I made an A but had to study way more than other classes and it was very stressful.

He's pretty nice and funny in his own way. Very charismatic. Study guides are simple, and straight to the point. He gives you the concepts and expects you to study that. And he doesn't do anything funny in the tests, meaning that whatever he said you should study appears on the test and he. Fair grading. 3 tests, x-credit and lab.

Had Professor Gillikin for Bio this semester. He's a really nice guy but very old school. You get 5 grades the entire year composed of 3 tests, the cumulative final, and lab attendance. The tests are very hard and the study guides aren't the best. Your grade ultimately comes down to how much time you dedicate studying for the tests.

Really nerdy/funny guy BUT has an extremely monotone voice so it's hard to focus especially if you don't fancy Bio..Half of the class would fall asleep during lectures..Exams were multiple choice, T/F, and matching which you think would be easy, however, he doesn't review or give you good study notes..Although he's nice, wouldn't suggest!

Craig rocks. Not only does he really know the material but he's also really approachable and funny. But be forewarned, his tests are not easy. If you follow his study guide and read the chapters thoroughly you will do well.

This prof is very good. He is very clear about what you need to study and learn. For a test, it's best to study straight from the study guide as opposed to just studying your notes. Lab is pretty important to go to. He can talk WAY too long, but he's very personable and goofy, laughs at his own jokes, knows students by name, etc. I recommend him!

Class was extremely boring, it was difficult to make myself go. He is a super nice guy but the material is difficult and he does not explain it very clearly. There is only 3 tests and they were extremely hard and would include material that had never been mentioned. Unless you love biology I would not reccomend him.

i really like mr gillikin. he's an awesome teacher, he is a tough grader, but so far (1/2 way through semester) he's given about 20 pts. of extra credit. also, he gives study guides before each test. also, he does experiments in class. he's really fun, and his labs are cool too. his tets are kinda tough, but the study guides help A LOT!!!
