Comment:

His teaching style is very old-school European, which may not be everyone's learning style but I loved his class so much that I took him the next semester also. His lectures are very straightforward and easy to follow. Don't worry about disruptive classmates, because he'll ask them to leave.

Comment:

Does not like answering questions, while conducting lectures, does not grade generously. He is okay if your way of learning is a bunch of examples on the overhead and a practice mock exam before every test, which helps greatly. However, be ready to be bored out of your mind. I was only missing about 4 points to get a B and he chose to give me a C.

He seems a little intimidating at first, but he's a really nice guy and very helpful. Go to class every day, do the homework (HW adds points to your exams, not doing the HW subtracts from your exam grade!), and you'll do well. He's planning on retiring next year, so take him while you can!

Omg i love love love this teacher. I took him for math 40 & 73 and i wish he teaches more of the classes that i need. He is very helpful get on his gd and u will love the class. highly recommend him.

Comment:

Mr. Perinetti is a pretty decent professor. He is straigt forward with his teaching and occasionally cracks a mild joke here and there. Exams are fairly decent to pass if you do the study guide which is almost a replica! He loves the Pittsburgh Steelers so if you speak good about them, you'll be on his good side. Highly recommend!

this teacher is a great one. he gives u extra credit for homework you do on the test. 5 test including final. he teaches in a way that doesnt matter your math level, youll understand him.

He really takes the time to exlpain each type of problem in his notes, but he doesnt go over the homework during class. If you dont miss class and you pay attention it's not hard to get an A. His tests are pretty simple and he makes a review guide before. If you do all the homework you get three extra credit points on each test.

Honestly the worst teacher I have ever encountered, he should have retired ages ago. Instead of reviewing material the class didn't understand he lectured us on how this was 5th grade arithmetic and that we should know it. All he does is put students down. If you struggle with math at all find another teacher because he is unwilling to help!

I took him for math 73 and i swear he is senial. He was talking about retiring soon and i think he needs to. the material he goes over is the dumbed down version of our homework and the tests are challenging. He knows his stuff he just needs to be nicer and not try to put his class down so much

OMG! I'm still in his class but i have to comment on how good this professor is. I always had the worst math teachers and im not good at math but this professor makes it so easy and he takes his time so if you are not good at math then take him for sure you will get an A but show up for class everyday, then you'll be lost.Ima take him again & again

He was good but I slacked off. It's so easy to get an A as long as you study his practice tests. They're pretty much EXACTLY the same just with different #s, which i think is really generous of him. 3 pts EC on your test for hw, -5 if you don't do any at all. Of course the class was boring-it's math. But he's really helpful & I'd recommend him.

Professor Perinetti is actually one of the only math teachers at El Co that I liked. It's sad that he doesn't teach a 190 course or higher. Will stay with a topic until everyone gets it, and normally gives you a sample test before your exams.
