Comment:

The class is easy as long as you make time for it. I did not and finished it all in like a week right before everything was due, and I felt like jumping off a bridge. With that being said the assignments are easy. Word of caution you can do most things on mac but I recommend doing the exams on a pc as it will take points off for nothing.

Comment:

Easy course to take that you can do on your own pace. All work and exams are due on last day of the semester. In order to pass you have to make time like any other course that you'd have to attend. Plus, if you have experience with excel, word, and powerpoint you'll do good! Easy course!

do NOT take this class if you have a mac. this class has given me more stress than any of my other classes bc the program this prof uses is designed for PCs. Its an extremely sensitive program and will take off points when you've done nothing wrong. Ive had to make extra time to go to the campus just so i can use their comps. very inconvenient.

Comment:

This is a "work at your own pace" class, easy to get ahead but easy to get behind. You can submit the tests as many times as you want to get a higher grade. Not the hardest class but not the easiest. Very time consuming, but doable to get an A. He is also easy to get ahold of with any questions.

Comment:

There's not much interaction between student and professor. However, I do recommend taking his class because homework, exams, and finals have unlimited retakes and it takes your highest scores. No deadlines, just make sure to turn every thing in by the end of the semester.

Comment:

If you're taking an upper division and want an A this is your class. He has "deadlines" to help keep you on track but you can do them whenever you want nothing is ever do on the due dates. You get multiple retakes. Easy A. Highly recommend!!!!

Easy A as long as you do all your work and allows for multiple retries to better your score. Sure Dr Bratten is easily accessible but not very helpful. Even when you get all questions correct, when you submit it the program suddenly marks your correct answers as incomplete and he doesn't work with you to resolve the problem but tells you to redo it

Comment:

You can do all of the assignments at your own pace since there is no late work only a deadline for all assignments at the end of the semester. The assignments were not hard but they were time consuming. I wouldn't recommend waiting until the very end to try and do all of the assignments. The professor is quite easy to reach.

If you plan on taking his class on a Mac, AVOID. The program he wants you to use runs best on PC and you will also need to buy Microsoft office, which still does not include Access, which means you'll need another computer to finish that chapter of the class. Lots of bugs and issues with the program and he was ZERO help and unavailable on campus.

Best and easiest online course ever! Wish all online courses were this clear. He responds and tries his best to help you out. Amazing course! You have to be stupid to fail. Before you do your homework and exams, training videos and aids are available. I suggest you do the training then the exams and then do the final exams after each section. Easy!

Although this class was taught through a program rather then the instructor, professor Bratten is always there to clear up any concern you have about the class. He is extremely quick to respond to emails & will work with you until the problem is resolved. As it pertains to the class, it is very easy but time consuming. Don't wait until last minute.

This class started out kicking my butt, but towards the end when I was freaking out about not finishing Professor Bratten was there for me. He is a very understanding professor and knows sometimes life gets in the way. I would recommend taking him for C.S 4000. Stay onto of the work and don't wait till the end to start. He is the best professor!

This class has to be the easiest Upper Divison GE class at Stan State. I took it online during the summer, and was done with entire class in one week! All the work is provide through a website. Do not buy the book! It is a complete waste of money. I got through the class without it, and you can too. Just buy the access code and you're all set.

Very easy class if you know your way around computers, and Professor Bratten was very accessible online to answer questions and was prompt with response. Will definitely take a class with him again if I need another CompSci class. He was extremely friendly and easy-going!

This is a great online class, set up really well. You don't need the text book at all, just purhcase the access code online and it saves you at least $80.00. The professor is always on aim so you can easily ask him questions, he is very helpful and very nice. Enjoyed this class. Easy A! Not to mention, the class is on YOUR schedule!

I took this class online. I bought the book and to tell you the truth you dont need it since the online class tells you pretty much everything. When I wasnt clear on a seccion the teacher would always repond quick to his emails. I got an A on the class and did it at my own time. Great Teacher!
