MY FAV PROFESSOR EVER!!!! 10/10 recommend taking. He is funny and is an amazing teacher. I find his class very interesting and intriguing. He is very laid back but at the same time, I learned a lot. Just take the class you won't regret it!

He will not let you use ANY electronics including laptops for ANY reason. Even if you need it for work he will insist you put it away and will use disciplinary actions if you do not this is on day one that i've encountered this. He's boring he teaches about obsolete material that makes people fall asleep as a result the students goof. Do not attend

Absolutely amazing. I'm pretty sure he knows something about everything. He's not the most lively person but if you're down to just sit and collect information, he's a wonderful professor. Also, he's really lenient with papers and attendance. He readily give extensions if you need them, and it's not a problem if you want to skip class occasionally.

He's brilliant. This is my third class with him and he is one of the smartest professors on campus. He's also really funny and likes to share "useful topics for cocktail parties." The only problem is that he isn't very energetic and his 2 hr class is rough. The whole class gets soda and candy to stay awake.

I ended up taking his AL II course by mistaking it for American Lit I. I stayed because of his assertion that AL I was full of "Hard-ass Calvinists". He is a wonderful man who clearly enjoys his job. Fair, Helpful, Interesting. He is the best teacher of the English language I have ever met.

One of the best professors I have ever had. My only complaint is I don't think he learned anyone's name in the class. He is so funny and interesting. Even if english isn't your favorite subject, you will love his class. Everyone should take one of his classes. He was a good, caring FYS professor

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. by far the best prof I've had in college. He knows his stuff and wants you to be interested in it. He's so laid back he'll listen to anything you have to say and gets really excited when you talk. TAKE HIS CLASS

Professor Cody is one of the coolest people around. Not only is he a great professor who really loves his field but he is just an interesting individual to get to know on a personal level. If you don't take one of his classes and spend some time just shooting the**** with him, you've missed out.

Dr. Cody is the best! He is a wealth of knowledge and wit, and he turned me into an avid reader. Without him, I never would have discovered Stanislaw Lem's marvelous novels, and I probably wouldn't have tried to immerse myself in Melville. I recommend Dr. Cody to anyone who is willing to go beyond what they think they know to learn some really fascinating things!

Cody's the man. Smart, funny, a hit with the ladies. He lectures the whole class, but it's ok because you want to hear him talk. He teaches interesting classes but sometimes you have to struggle to be interested in some of the arcane extraneous stuff he loves.

Hes a wonderful professor. He makes the class interesting and fun. He gives very little work minus reading and many opportunities to fix problems that you may still have in the work. Though this is true, His grading is not the best. Its hard to get an A.

Cody is one of my favorite Professors. His mind is a filling cabinent of random and interesting information. He is mellow but amusing. I love the discussions we had in class. He is the yan to Navarette's ying! Two awesome professors, completely knowledgeabl and amusing who will challenge you.
