If you work really hard for this course, you only deserve a B+; if you spend 10+ h per week for this course, you can only get a B+. You will get 6/12 for your project and this will curve down a lever for your final grade, but he is the only auditing professor, just enjoy this amazing course and a harsh B+.

To start, the custom textbook for his class never came to the bookstore. A lot of lectures which explain the topics well. A project was assigned but a grade was never given back to students. There are a lot of homework and quizzes to balance out the final.. The final was a nightmare of an exam.

Wow what an amazing person, besides for giving amazing classes hes on professor that cares about about well being, constantly asking how things are at home and always being there for me when Im having trouble, I love him, best professer I have ever had

I am an MBA student who took the Accounting Pre-Qualifier with Professor Gelb. It was a mess. We had this access code and the homework did not match the lectures. The lectures were definitions and the homework and exams were all practice problems. This lead to confusion with Accounting and left a bad taste for it.

Other reviews are super old but unfortunately nothing much has changed. The semester consists of homework and quizzes every week, a term project that has weird grading criteria (out of 11 pts and pts are taken off easily), and a final where you have no idea what happened after you finished. He's the only audit professor :(

Dr Gelb?s demeanor in class is unprofessional, rude and appalling. I felt stupid asking questions, and did not feel that I could participate freely in class. There is defiantly room for change in this department. Basically Dr. Gelb is by far the worst professor or teacher I have ever encountered in my entire life.

This is the most useless person on campus bar none. He is so unhelpful and unwilling to listen to anyone. I'm not sure why he is an employee here because this school is just wasting tuition money on someone that will never help their students
