Professor Nyer is a great professor that creates a fun and engaging learning atmosphere with awesome lectures each day. The course grades are based on quizzes, tests, and a project; all of which are very doable and transparent with expectations. I would highly recommend anyone to take this class.

Nyer is an excellent professor that I extremely knowledge and engaging with the content. He is very transparent about what is expected and how the class will function. His pop quizzes are usually just quizzes as he gives a heads most of the time.

Unless you're a prolific note taker his pop quizzes are impossible as long with his tests. Aims to humiliate and make fun of students. He wants to make this course very challenging. A lower grade for the class is his goal and he will get it. Avoid.

He purposely wants your grade to end low. I had a 96 going into the final and then he gave us a final that he did not prepare us for and changed everything up completely. On the group project he told our group that we had the best overall presentation and then gave us a C+ on it. His only focus is keeping his average grade in the class low.

I found his pop quizzes to be extremely hard and the class too math heavy. There is no textbook and no study guides for the quizzes(Except midterm and final). He gives you one practice problem which will be on the mini-test and midterm. Our class failed the first exam and he was "disappointed in us" but if everyone fails, its the teacher's fault.

He is a very knowledgeable professor and knows his stuff. His quizzes aren't very hard, all multiple choice & True False. The mini tests, midterm and final are very heavily math based. You definitely need to be good at math to do well.

I enjoyed Prashanth's lectures and he is very knowledgeable in marketing. Class is very tough though. Extremely tough pop quizzes, mini-tests were all hard and all calculation questions. Even if you do well on the midterm and final, quizzes will ruin your grade. Group project wasn't too bad. Final was extremely hard. Rename this class Calculus 304.

Professor Nyer is truly one of the best at Chapman. He will call you out every now and then but in all good humor! He really cares for his students and will do his best to make sure everyone understands the content. There is a marketing simulation assignment that you work on with a group the entire semester so make sure to pick a good group.

Professor Nyer is very professional and caring. He is funny but he picks on people to answer questions once awhile so students pay attention to him in class. These questions are usually about ECON 200, MATH 109 or common sense. Come prepared for (8) quizzes in class. There is a 8-week marketing simulation project and requires plenty collaboration.

Comes off hard at first but isnt. Harsh humor but he always means well. Does a great job at teaching you marketing in a BUSINESS perspective. Lots of quizes but they are incredibly EASY and require almost no studying if you just go to class. He does a group project that is confusing at first but only takes up 5 minutes of time each week.

People who do do well in this class (and do well on quizzes) tend to enjoy this class, those who struggle usually dislike Prashanth. He is energetic and loves telling stories to connect to his points. Remember the stories because they may come up on the exams. Good if you prefer analysis over the creative side of marketing.

You either love him or hate him. He's really not that bad and is one of the most enthusiastic lectures at Chapman (bars not too high). Most of it is examples and he goes through everything realllllly slow. Lots of quizzes, no homework, 2 assignments with lots of simple math. Doesn't like accounting majors though :(

He makes this class just SO much harder than it has to be. His quizzes are impossible and he knows that and just doesn't care. Don't take this class with him !

Great guy, he makes an effort to know everyone's name. he will call on people at random to make sure everyone is paying attention. there are 2 midterms, 2 "assignments" (read test, all math calculations, it took the whole class period) and multiple quizzes. if you study and pay attention in the class you will be fine. He is very straightforward.

Good teacher and makes the class entertaining, but it is much harder than it needed to be. Class was less about marketing theory and more about mathematical calculations that I will never use..

Prashanth is probably one of my favorite professors I've had at Chapman. He will make fun of you but not in a way that is legitimately insulting in any way. Class will be tricky if you don't pay attention and his quizzes are usually more difficult than his exams. You will learn and you will be engaged if you take his class.

At the beginning of the semester, I thought I was going to hate this class and it ended up being one of my favorite classes at Chapman. Nyer really knows his stuff and cares about his students. I thought he was hilarious (he WILL call you out in class) If you take GOOD notes and pay attention during lecture (no book), this class will be a breeze.

Even if you slack off for half the semester, if you show him you're putting in effort, and you ask him for help, he will help you so much and you will be so glad you took that class.

He's very knowledgeable, not just on marketing on any topic. He tells fascinating stories in his class and he's very involved with his students. He will learn your name and he'll notice if you get a haircut. Overall his class is fun. The marketing simulation is a big part of the class and if you don't do well it can mess with your grade.

Overall great prof. All PowerPoint for lecture but used a lot of relevant examples. Posts slides online. All test and quizzes are very fair. Useful group project. Attendance not mandatory, but 10 pop quizzes. Really quick on grading. I learned a lot, and found the many examples he gives to really help me understand concepts.
