Dr. Stapleton's a great professor. He can go off on some somewhat related tangents, but for the most part, he teaches the material really well.

Professor Stapleton is very old school. He keeps chalk in his black slack pants and occasionally talks about the 70s. Nonetheless, he is very knowledgeable in his subject. I recommend him to students that already are fairly good at math, he teaches very fast and his lectures require you to thoroughly understand the prerequisites.

I had Dr. Stapleton for Calculus 1-4 and Differential Equations. He is one of the best math professors, especially for upper levels. There is no stress in his class. He curves a lot and is an easy grader. What you need to do is to read the examples, do ALL the problems on the practice exams and make sure you understand them then you will get A!

Great teacher. A little disorganized (he brought the wrong quiz to class once), but nonetheless quite intelligent and willing to help. His examples and notes are easy to follow. He grades on a curve and allows the use of a Ti84. One word of advice: pack erasers and do not take notes in pen. He has a habit or erasing what he writes on the board.

Very approachable and relaxed. Always shows the proofs, which REALLY helped me. Very smart man who will work with you! Second half of the semester he stopped taking roll. Not the most organized, but definetely a great teacher! I AM taking him again!

M. Stapleton is one of the best math teacher. He certainly is lost in his work but he will help you a lot to pass your class. Attendance is not mandatory and you will success his class if you do all the practice tests because his exams are similar to those. I will definitely retake his class. TAKE HIM!! He is really smart..

A really nice and smart professor. Though he teaches really fast sometimes it's hard to keep up with him. Attendance does matter, he adds to your grade! Do your homework and you will pass! His exams are hard but he curves the grades.

Stapleton's lectures were fairy easy to understand if you pre-read the chapter before the lecture. His study guides really helped when preparing for a test. I would definitely take his Calculus class again!

Super smart and caring guy. I don't see Calculus as a professor dependent class. To me it's all the same. You work hard and put time into it and get a good grade. If you're bad at math, you work a little harder. Don't skip class, do the problems he assigns for homework, then do even more problems and you will get a good grade. He curves tests )

Great guy and super smart, but that's it. His teaching style is quick and it slaps you in the face, so be prepared! However, he does curve tests and allows the use of a TI84.

If you pay attention in this class, you will do well. He does go through the material pretty quickly, and quite often he doesn't stop to ask for questions. Just interupt, he doesn't mind. If you show up, actually do the homework, you will do fine. Grade scale is awesome. 55-70 is a C, 70-85B, 85-100 A. Very smart, very accessible.

Doesn't work time limit, often runs after class should be over. Attendance matters in beginning but will eventually stop. Homework is problems from textbook. End of the semester is tough, spends all class period doing problems from previous homework and doesn't leave time to teach new lesson, but will assign the homework anyway.

Dr. Stapleton is not a professor I would ever take again. No one made higher than a 50 on his tests. He teaches as he goes and I don't even think he understands it...

Dr. Stapleton seems like a very nice guy. But, he is disorganized and seems to have no clue about the level of his audience. He makes the most simple concepts seem difficult and difficult concepts seem impossible. You will not get your papers back (ever), so photocopy them before turning them in. Take extremely good notes and form a study group.

He is unorganized. But, he is really a very helpful and easy professor. Although he couldn't organize his lecture well, he gives you a sample test question, which is almost as same as the exam paper few days before the exam date. He also curve the grade for like almost every test. U can drop the final test if u did well for the few test before.

Nice guy who knows his stuff, but just can't relay it to students, poor guy. I had taken trig in high school so I did well, but if the material is new to you you're gonna have a hard time. His lectures were largely unhelpful, but his tests were easy (for me at least). Take someone else if you can.
