Pr. Vanderboegh is the kindest man I have ever met. I was met with an illness this semester that made me miss weeks of class. He was the only teacher caring enough to still help me attempt to catch up. In the end, I had to withdraw from the semester but I still can't thank him enough for everything he did for me.

I absolutely loved Dr. V! He truly wants his students to succeed. He's very nice and funny. He's an extremely fair grader, hardly takes any points off. He's super super helpful and nice. He's very passionate about french culture and language. The class time is very fun. I have no complaints. TAKE HIM FOR FRENCH!

I love Dr. V! This class is amazing! Vanderboegh is an amazing professor; he is very patient and knowledgable about a variety of things and he is a great instructor. I seriously enjoy going to class three times a week. He's a must take if you're going to take French.

One of my favorite classes this semester. He is super intelligent and a lot of fun in class. If you don't understand something he will go over it till you do, and he will switch to English when he needs to explain something so we're not lost in translation. If you really want to learn French, take him.

This was probably my favorite class this semester. He's a really fun professor. He would add in fun stuff like current pop culture of France and not just focus on conjugating verbs. He gives extra time on tests and you can hand in HW later. The only thing is he sometimes emails homework due the next day at 8 the night before which can be annoying

Great professor! He made class enjoyable and is very understanding. There is homework every day but he lets you email it in until midnight the day it's due, so not bad. Tests are long but he'll give you extra time. Very likable and knows his stuff!

The kindest professor that I have ever had. He sincerely wants his students to succeed. There is homework every night, but it is worth 5 pts each, easy, so it's not a big deal if you can't complete it every now and then. Very approachable, willing to help and have fun. He always shows French music videos and other tidbits of french culture.
