I've never had a teacher give me such extensive, detailed, and useful feedback before. The reading and writing assignments, in my opinion, are fun and interesting. She really made me want to improve my work.

Lots of work. Every week we had to turn in a 5 page journal and a quiz on the assigned chapter, but she is a very Lenient grader. I took eng 220 with her and it was a very helpful class for me. She will make you practice a lot in most creative mediums.

She is an awesome lady and a very good lecturer. She is clear and concise with personal background and an impressive knowledge in the subject. She is fair and will go out of her way to help a student. The class is not a breeze but not that bad either.

She is a good professor in class, and it is interesting. The workload is not bad, but she gives LOTS of pop quizzes that are kind of hard. I have her for another class too and that one is a lot of writing. I'd be cautious about taking her for something else.

Definetly Reccomended. The world load is moderate, just do the readings and turn things in on time and you'll do fine. Laporte is also extremely nice, if you participate in class she'll love you.

I thought she possessed the knowledge of an average highschool freshman teacher. She has an extreme bias towards certain people and I learned nothing from her. Her depth of literature critiques were shallow and incomplete. Horrible teacher in my opinion!
