I have had the opportunity to have him for both micro and macro economics. I enjoyed his lectures however if you miss a class your screwed because his tests come directly from the examples/notes given in class The tests are very hard with 50 MC w/similar choices so you need to know your stuff in and out. Not a bad person but you da need to study.

Comment:

Professor Frost is the man and definitely my favorite professor I took at NCC. This however no means an easy A you have to work for your grade. My average after my first two exams were a D+, but he I aced the final and counted that for my final grade, great guy take him!

This guy is probably my favorite professor that I've ever had. I took both Honors Micro and Macroeconomics with him and, although they were tough classes, his lectures were amazing and I always looked forward to it. He has great stories that he tells that enhances the lecture. His tests are really hard, so be sure to study. Overall, an amazing guy.

Comment:

I had him for micro honors. It was a HARD class (and I have a 4.0). Lots of homework, and its crucial to be in attendance for class because before each exam you have to turn in notes. He's passionate and hilarious - he engages students. You HAVE to study but I promise you will learn something. If you can't work hard, don't even bother.

Amazing professor and person. His lectures are intellectual and enjoyable. I took him for macro and micro and he did a great job of explaining concepts. Hes hysterical and I always looked forward to going to his class. His test are commutative but if you work hard, take good notes and STUDY you will do just fine. Professor Frost is the man.

I loved this professor. He completely changed my outlook on politics and the world economy. His lectures are extremely enjoyable, especially the funny stories he calls "Nassau specials." I recommend this professor 100%.

Professor Frost is a great instructor. His class isn't the easiest, however if you give an honest effort it's not that difficult either. In his exams are reasonable and he usually always has a fair curve on them

I am a straight A student with 4.0 and this was my last class. I have taken honor classes with extremely hard professors but this is ridiculous .He has ten-year so he does not care. He spends half classes talking about made up stories that he insures you over and over that they are true. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. 60% grade average on first exams...

Professor Frost is recommended for students who are hungry to learn and willing to do the work. The grade you recieve is a reflection of how hard you work in his class. It's hard but don't let this discourage you, the benefits of taking his class are invaluable and you will walk out with lessons that will make you see the world differently. Do it!

Pay attention in class, study your notes over and over in the time before class and the days after, come into every class prepared as if there was going to be a test that day, if you dedicate this much to his class you should be more than fine. Believe me in his class, you must earn and work for your grade. If you want an Easy A, good luck!

He's a funny guy. But he really does make you work for your grade. His tests are hard, homework is important but wont make much of a difference, and his lectures can be overwhelming. Overall, if youre looking for an Easy Prof. he's not the guy. there, you've been warned. Take this advice wisely. im telling you now!

Professor Frost served as an inspiration to me. He is accessible outside of the classroom, and is knowledgable of the material. His use of stories help connect all students to the material. You get the grade you deserve. Overall, I had an excellent experience!

Best professor I ever had. The tests were fair, not as hard as some of these comments say. He suggests you study 5 hours a week. I didnt and still got an A. I did all the homework assignments which were online and given a week to do. Just take notes and pay attention in class and participate. He is the funniest guy i've ever met.

He did his best to make the subject interesting, but that meant diverting from the topic to occasionally make jokes. He is pretty funny, and illustrated the concepts well. The tests were fair, and although he gives a speech on how he doesn't curve grades, he added a few points to every one. Homework and tests were all multiple choice. Skip the text

First off, Professor Frost's tests are very hard if your not a good test taker this class isn't for you. He's a very funny professor makes his lectures interesting and keeps you focused. The homework's are pretty long if you actually try but they can easily be guessed you have 2 try then after that it gives you a answer and one more try.

I had this professor for both Macro and Micro. Overall, this courses are hard. He is such a great professor and by far the most professional and interesting I have had at NCC. You MUST go to All of his classes because the test and hws come from what he teaches in class. THEREFORE, notes matter a lot. Doesn't requires textbook. You will learn a lot!
