Comment:

Lectures, textbook reading, and notes - and still not helpful when taking her tests. She may be nice, but not impressed with her teaching. When you have to put so much time into a class, you expect to see results when taking tests - this is not the case with her class.

The test were nothing in the book or over her lectures, spend a lot of time readying and studying and barley passed. She is sweet but the test come from out of nowhere I could find!

Easiest course ever. I took the fast track 2 week course so it was alot of reading in a short period of time, but it was only 4 unit exams over the chapters, one super easy assignment, the final, and one extra credit assignment. Goes by fast, but everything including the final is open book. Just be ready to read and you will be alright.

Comment:

She is such an awesome instructor! Clearly loves what she does and it shows through her teaching. Lectures are interesting and not at all boring. The way she grades is clear and syllabus has it all laid out from beginning to end.

For PSY2200 online, you must read the entire textbook and comprehend the material in order to do well on tests. But, she gives online lectures embedded into powerpoint that makes life a lot easier. She is very involved in the online course, always gives timely feedback and grading, and is very passionate about the subject. I would take her again

VERY EASY. She is one of the best teachers at VC. Very sweet and her assignments are easy as well. Take her for sure. Everything is basically open book even her Final. A lot of reading but I found the material interesting as it really ties in with Nursing.

I took this class online so I'm not sure how she would be in class. Online it was a lot of reading and making sure everything sunk in. The reading was very long and took time, but her tests were very short. I would take her for another class!

If you read the material, then you will do well in this class. You read about a chapter a week and have a test after every chapter. The tests are easy and you have a lot of time to complete them (translation- plenty of time to look back in your book for answers). I did not have much interaction with Professor Hoblit, but she seemed alright.

Professor Hoblit is amazing. Flat out.Her class did not require any in person testing, not even the final. However, the college is requiring her to change that. Yet,the ONLY in person test will be the final.She chose a wonderful textbook that I'm even keeping.Quizzes were grade rubric fairly, and there are no discussion postings.Educational but fun

This course made you use your text book, but did NOT require the reading everyone says! You just had to use the index at the end of each chapter! The Internet assignment was a breeze! I took this online and it was my easiest course by far!

I took this class online and really enjoyed it. The course did require a lot reading, but it was all done at your own pace. All exams opened the first day of class and closed at the end of the semester--including the final! I thought Professor Hoblit was helpful and made it really easy to pass this class.

I took this class online this semester (8 wk fast track course). She gives 11 quizzez, plus an interenet assignment, and then the final. Seriously, one of the hardest classes ever taken. Barely passed it! You have to do a whole bunch of reading and probably someone to help you take the quizzes. I did! STAY AWAY from this teacher!

Dr. Hoblit is an amazing professor. She keeps class so interesting. I love how she incoporates her life stories into her lecture which makes the class exciting and you learn from her examples. Her tests can be challenging but she gives u a good strong review which helps a bunch. Just read, read, read and you will do just fine in Dr. Hoblits class.
