Comment:

She was my favorite professor in the OSEH program. I loved the way she taught her classes. Everything was well organized and the information was laid out nicely and easy to obtain. She also gave very complimentary feedback on her assignments. It's sad she left, but she got a great job in the field that she deserved. I hope she'll teach again.

Comment:

Dr. Hearn is an amazing person. Although her lectures are long, they're very informative. She really cares about her students and is very understanding. The homeworks and test are easy but the information is very interesting to learn about. I recommend students taking this class with Dr. Hearn. It was very stress-free but great class.

Comment:

One of my favorite professors in the OSEH department. Extremely helpful and cares about all of her students. One of the most knowledgeable and experienced professors in the department. She always has industry experience to back up topics. If i could I would have taken all of my OSEH classes with Dr. Hearn.

I LOVE Hearn. She is so incredibly experienced with safety and makes the class relevant to your future career as a safety professional. She is one of the few professors at Millersville whose lectures aren't hard to listen to. She will go the distance to help you if you ask. She's my favorite from the OSEH dept. so far!

Dr. Hearn is an amazing professor. Although her class drags on, if you pay attention the information is very interesting. She is very enthusiastic about the topic and is also very willing to help. Her schedule and office hours are limited but she is a very accommodating professor. If all professors were like her, college would be great! Easy A!

Very, very easy class; I felt like it was kindergarten all over again. She will do anything for her students, even copying notes for them. Tests are based off of her note outlines, you only need the book for her take-home quizzes.

Dr. Hearn is a great prof! This class turned out to be my favorite of the semester because of Dr. Hearn. You get take home quizzes and tests about once a month which aren't hard at all. She seems very knowledgable and friendly. She's willing to work with her students and even though the class is lecture, she gets to know everyones names.

she came back to teach. i recommend her. she seemed a little unorganized at the beginning but got back into things at the end. we had a paper, FEMA courses, 4 test (1's a final), and take home quizzes. the only problem is the class is a little boring, but make sure you go, you may get extra credit. she's always least 5 minutes late to class
