Comment:

He is very knowledgable and provides great handouts for the 3 exams. Attendance isn't mandatory, but I went to every class and got an "A" in the class and he was accomodating and tried to entertain. He picks on each student, which some may be offended, but it is in good fun. Everyone in our class received an "A" or "B". I will take him again.

This guy was the most influential professor in my MBA program. He taught me to keep trying, even when I hadn't a clue how to do the work. He always helped me, even when it was a lost cause....I am now a professor of the quantitative courses in the business department at a state university. Thanks Dr. Emmett!

I loved thiws professor. Class may be hard, but he makes it fun and easy. Very helpful. Just make sure you keep up with him and do some studing. Openbook tests, which is absolutely wonderful.

He does take the class at a quick pace, but if you listen and do moderate studying, you will be fine. If you fall behind, ASK A QUESTION!! He helps anyone who needs it. He keeps the class fun. PS-His notes look like chicken scratch!

I see Dr. Emmett hasn't changed since I was in his classes in 1979-1980. I thought he was an outstanding teacher - I learned more from him than any other in my college career (BS MBA). His classes are rigorous and demanding - as is the material covered.

Take good notes N class b/c his hand writing is horrible. Goes 2 fast (tape recorder). Be sure 2 come 2 class 30 minutes early on the day of the exam so that you can finish on time. Be prepared for NO breaks from 6-8:30pm (Go 2 the bathroom B4 class).

He is the kind of professor who is really knowledgable in his field. He goes too fast for the kind of material that needs to be covered. His exams are too long. So make sure that you have enough time for the test. You have to ask for a break.
