Mr. Berry is an excellent teacher. I had him for both BUS 271 and BUS 272. He really understands the material and he helped alleviate a lot of the anxiety I had about statistics. There is a project in Stats 2 that's I thought his directions were a little non-specific on. Small amount of homework, so your grade comes from the tests and the project.

Class is super hard, even if you attend all lectures like me. Does not go by the book, and is difficult to understand. Not enough grade opportunity as everything is determined by just a couple of tests.

He was okay, I imagine if I take him for a different class it would be better. He said he hadn't taught micro economics in a few years and I think that was why there was a lot of back tracking in his lectures and examples. He is good at the explanations. The concepts are just very generalized and not meant to be thought too in depth.

Great teacher. He likes participation and cares that you understand the material. I took him for Stats 1 and 2. Be prepared to study or you will struggle. He is very accessible outside of class and quickly responds to emails. There are 3 tests for the semester and usually 1 or 2 homework assignment per week.

He's a good guy and a good professor. He truly cares about his students and makes sure everyone is on the same page and really breaks the material down. Go to class and pay attention and you will pass.

Mr. Berry does a great job of making stats very understandable. We had 3 tests, 28.5% of final grade each. Not much extra credit. He gives lots of examples in class, makes the concepts very clear. Tests make you think- they aren't copy/paste versions of a study guide. I really like him, but I do wish he posted grades on blackboard more often.

Dr. Berry explains Stats in simple terms & basic examples. His tests are similar to study guide/reviews he goes over, has bonus Qs. He uses every minute of the class time. He makes special times for those who could not take a test during regular time (due to work schedule). He wants you to understand and will show examples until it clicks!

I took him in the summer and the lectures do tend to drag on, but he explains the material well and makes sure everyone understands the lessons before he moves on. His exams are pretty straight forward if you study the notes and practice the Hawkes hw. He also reviews what will be on the test before you have it. Would recommend for Stats 2.

Great Professor for Stats! Explains very well and be sure to take notes. Do your work and you should end up making good grades. He makes sure that every one understands the material. Try to do his textbook homework, bc his test question are pretty much similar to it. Just numbers will not do, you will have to explain.

Take Mr. Berry for Stats I and II. He cares about students and makes sure everyone understands the concepts before moving to the next chapter. He's quick to respond to emails and is willing to explain anything again outside of class. Do the homework, study, and go to him for help and this should be an easy class.

I took Mr. Berry for the 2nd Econ class and both of my Stats classes. I did a full two years at Calhoun, and he's definitely one of my top 3 favorite professors. He made economics understandable, and is part of the reason I'm pursuing a finance minor now. I passed both stats classes with an A as well. He explains in clear English. Highly recommend.

I was extremely nervous before the semester started about taking Stats. Mr. Berry is an amazing professor. To me, he used relevant examples and made it more interesting and easier to understand. This was my favorite class so far.

Personally Mr. Berry is a good egg. Lectures are disconnected and long. You will NOT pass by just showing up, taking notes and studying - unless you have an aptitude for Math andor Statistics - YOU have to 'get' the material in order to pass and he is not very good at bridging that gap - although he tries valiantly.

This is a tough class. I think he knows what he's talking about though. Several people did bad on one test & he allowed everyone to improve their grade. 4 tests (multiple choice, short answer, & diagrams), homework, & a post test. Not an easy A, but if you pay attention, take good notes, study, & do the homework, you'll likely succeed.

I absolutely love Mr. Berry! As long as you show up for class and study your notes you'll be fine. He doesn't use the textbook for either economics class which saved some money.

The worst teacher I've had for a math class. At the end of the semester he changed our homework grade percentage from 16% to 10%. I was counting on that homework, considering math isn't my best subject. And then he gave everyone a 90% grade for the homework! So much for the people who actually tried to do it. Worst teacher..
