Professor Springer is one of the most kindest teacher I had so far. She is very sweet and understanding. I am a pretty shy student and do not like asking for help, but I feel like I can ask and talk to her about anything. In short, she is very approachable and works well with students.

Ah Professor Springer, i wont forget about her. I had her for English 101. Shes very caring and understanding. She takes time on her essays which was really helpful because you arent rushed, she helps the whole class along the way. I heard she was retiring though, not sure when but i wish i wouldve taken her for English 201 :(

If you can take Springer, I totally recommend it. I have always had a hard time writing essays but whilst taking her class, I ended up writing over the amount of pages she wanted. Her handouts and lists of essay topic choices helped so much, definitely going to use the handouts in the future.

Professor Springer is caring, kind, knowledgeable, detailed, efficient, organized, and thorough. Her class handouts are replete with grammar rules, prompts, and examples instrumental in various writing formats. My writing has become more polished, articulate, organic, concise, and effective thanks to Springer's Method of Writing.

MY FAVORITE PROFFESOR AT RIO HONDO TO DATE, and Ive been here for 12,000 years. Shes so passionate and caring and just amazing. Heavily invested in her students and she really makes it known she loves what she does. Her readings and discussions are amazing. Ive never been happier to read and talk about a wallpaper in my life! TAKE HER, DO IT!

I wish there was more Professor Springers out in the college world. She truly is such a gem. Cares so much about her students, and loves what she teaches. Highly knowledgeable in her area. Read everything she assigns, she chooses the best materials to read, It makes American literature very interesting & homework never felt like a burden!

Ahh, probably one of the most caring professors at Rio Hondo that I have ever taken! I took her American Lit course, and I wish I could have taken the second part but it collided with my schedule. She's awesome! She expects you to read, because that's basically all the homework there is. DEF RECOMMEND!!

Dr. Springer is a wonderful teacher. In my experience she has been cheerful, supportive of every viewpoint in class discussions, and is willing to help out and offer feedback on classwork. As long as you do the reading, do the writing, and contribute to classroom discussions now and then, it's a great class.

She is a two face teacher. She pretends she is your friend but she's not. Research is all you do in her class. A lot of writing and group work. Her class is very hard so if you don't have the patience to handle hard work, don't take her.

Take dana vazquez, she's a way better teacher than springer. Springer is hard, she is very critical of everything her students say or do, and she's always in a lousy mood.

I took Lit 112 A and she is great. Read, show up to class and do the journal entries after each class meeting(they are freewrite on your thoughts). I got a little behind on the entries yet, she collects them in bundles so there's no reason to fail. She accepts late work. 3 essays.

Dr. Springer is by far one of the greatest Professors at Rio. If you still need help or too shy to ask during class, she has office hours. Must be there on time, she's very strict about attendance! There's one group presentation. She gives you interesting essay topics. She'll talk about current events and baseball!

Interesting class. There's a lot of reading involved so be ready. Textbooks are necessary. After each assignment, students have to write journals based on their thoughts of the literature. Discussions are held next class. There's also a paper due as a final. As long as everyone reads and participates, the class should be fun and easy.

She is beyond amazing. Her teacher method is very straight forward. Challenging course but she makes it easy for anyone to get an A. Three essays and one in class final essay. Very little homework. I was horrible at writing essays and she made it easy for me. I will never forget Dr. Springer =]
