I have yet to have one pleasant experience in my class. She doesn't even teach, we learn from computers. We have little to no discussion time in class and doesn't prepare us well for exams. The course is extremely fast and each week is a whole different unit.

Uses Pearson's online labs which is helpful. Lets you use a notecard every test, therefore they can be really easy. She never actually checks notecards or book homework. Took her twice, and shes about as easy as you'll get in college.

If your looking for a helpful teacher, who is extremely knowledgable, then this is the class to take and the instructor to take it with. She was extremely helpful when you need her to go over class material. She is very clear with initial directions and you always know exactly what is expected of you. Be ready to put time in though!

Excellent teacher. Hendrickson is patient and enthusiastic. 95% of the notes are on the test so if you study and do the work, you'll do well. I would take her for every science course if possible! Highly recommended.

She was great for Intro to Bio but for A&P she rushed us right through it and even if she had out of class review sessions it wasn't enough. Sometimes she would go out of topic and talk about small bodily things and those would end up on the test. I disliked this class.

Hendrickson's awesome! All of her material is very clear, if you don't understand something she will work with you until you do. She's very hands on & helpful when it comes to Lab. She's also very patient & never lost her cool or raised her voice, very easy going. You can tell she loves her job. Definitely the best science teacher I've ever had!

If you think Mrs. H is a hard teacher then I hope you are not going into one of the allied health majors. I had her for A&P 1&2 and not only is she a great teacher who cares that you learn, her notes are crystal clear (you just have to write them down!). Tests come straight from her lectures - no sneaky questions. Best Bio teacher at NVCC.
