There is a previous rating on here from 2011 ..."Recommend that she be taken down from her position of power. " I would have to agree. My advice is to keep copies of all graded assignments and emails if you make a complaint because they will likely disappear....

Not a good problem solver if you have a concern. Should not be the chair of psychology. Terrible people skills and does not attempt to hear out a students concern-even when presented in a respectful manner.

I loved Prof. Steffler's teaching style. She shows a powerpoint but describes it very well and gives lots of examples. She helps when you ask for help and her paper she assigns is easy if you can follow directions!

Steffler is an amazing prof. She's very open-minded, concise, helpful, and not to mention incredibly inspirational. Steffler answered the questions that I had thoroughly after class and left me in awe everytime. Cognition with her was fantastic. As long as you read the textbook and study. You will do fine.

Okay, PSY211 is a tough class. I heard horror stories about it from my friends, who basically promised me I wouldn't pass it. Well I did with an A. This is a course where it is essential to keep up with readings and do lots of practice. Dr. Steffler gives lots of sample questions that help A LOT. But to do well, you need to actually TRY.

If you struggle with math (which I frequently do) then do not worry, Dr. Steffler is a wonderful prof who is more than willing to help students. She is very kind and approachable. Put alot of effort into your paper because it will boost your grade ALOT. Tests focus on the concepts more than the math itself, so read that textbook!! It's not easy.

Dr. Steffler is awesome. As long as you are willing to work hard, you'll do great. She is not one for excuses, but is compassionate when real life hits. Ive taken several courses with her, and she is probably the person I have learned the most from at Uni. She is clear with what she expects from the beginning. Work hard and you will succeed.

SUCH A HARD CLASS! My dad even talked to Dr. Crispin and he said he's lucky I didn't get Evans cause Steffler is the better one but she wasn't very good either! I dreaded it, it has a 40% passing rate and she didn't help me at all. I struggled and struggled. It's a mandatory class but man, she could of been more understanding. Wouldn't recommend!!
