Comment:
Do well on his first midterm because that first impression of you will follow throughout the rest of the semester/chemistry degree life. He has clear favorites so try to be on that list. He is very knowledgeable of Chemistry but expects you to know as much as he does, or even more. Has 3 midterms and a final; which are all written.

Excellent prof! Very difficult exams. Must know basic chemistry inside-out!! You cannot pass his tests without a solid basic knowledge of your first year chemistry classes! He does not have favorites, even if ppl say that! He helps everyone, as long as you go ask for help. Understand the material, DONT just memorize! It wont work with his tests!

Dr. W is an amazing professor and he teaches the material well. He does fail in one area though - he tends to have favorites. He is discouraging and has cut people down on their plans for their future just because their grades were not up to par. I think that is something a professor should never do - instead he should help students to be better

A little bit confusing but that could be because i took it as a summer class so it was fast paced. As long as you review after class you should be fine. Always pay attention to the extra stuff he writes on the board. Overall nice guy and not as hard as people say!

He is probably one of the most difficult profs out there...but if you work hard, you get good marks. You cannot cut corners in his class, hard work and long hours are the key. The bonus is how well you understand everything by the end of the course...that is, if you don't burn out before then. I really liked him, he has a thorough knowledge of chem

He assumes you have an deep understanding of most Chemical theories... If you do not remember every detail from first year chemistry courses, you are going to have to work your ass off to get a good mark in his classes.
