the person below seems pissy because they didn't receive the perfect grade they'd hope for. dustin is a great teacher and by far the best i have had at fsu; he mixes wit and intelligence as he teaches and takes time to talk to his students, in and outside class. i absolutely would recommend him.

dustin is generally mediocre. he grades tough for no reason. he's condescending and frequently references family guy. class notes are simply what he decides to dictate. definitely had WAY better grad teachers...he thinks too much of himself. I generally like english and am an A student...he is not great but not absolutely horrible.

This guy is great! He is very engaging and extremely funny. Everyday he had the entire class laughing but everyday we also learned a lot. He really challenges you to think critically about the subject matter and is always very helpful when you have questions or don't understand something. He's definitely one of the best teachers that I've ever had!

I really enjoyed this class. Dustin Anderson might try to intimidate you, but his class is really great. I learned a lot. There is a lot of reading, and a research paper, but other than that there's not much busy work. Totally worth the paper!

Nice guy. He tries to make the material fun and interesting - which is a treat because a lot of it is poetry. The class overall was easy. Midterm, easy. But dont let that understate the final paper. he expects a lot. don't think you can pop out a paper the night before and get an A. I would take him again

Dustin is the best teacher i have ever had in college. He makes topics that could seem boring, interesting, interactive,fun, and funny. I strongly recommend this teacher. The only problem with the class is not the teacher, or topic, its the people in the class who interupt, and talk just to hear themselves talk. Dustin=awesome teacher!

He really tries to be a nice guy, but somehow it's just not genuine. You can tell that he is both smart and funny, but some of the humor is useless and a waste of class time. Great sense of humor, good teacher. Does tend to go off on tangents, but they're generally amusing and related to the course material. Great help with paper writing- In one sitting this guy did more for my thesis writing skills than any teach I had in high school.

he reminds me of a mix of the guy from 300 and a logger on the cover of a maple syrup bottle. Besides getting to stare at Dustin's good looks his class was fun and interactive. He doesn't just teach to teach, he gives you useful information and makes sure you know it and understand it by having you connect it to the texts.

Dustin was challenging, but in the way that made me excited to learn more & to to expand my views on life, lit, philosophy, etc. Makes you question social norms, makes you think. The class is great for people interested in Lit/writing. VERY funny, quirky, kind of cute, extremely intellegent, well-read, and approachable. Would take him for any class

If you want to learn something new, take this class by him, but only if you're willing to work hard, because it's not easy in the slightest. He's a great guy, makes class fun, and, for the first time, I learned something new in class. Definitely worth the work if you're willing.
