A stellar teacher. Not a push-over, but very fun. She makes sure students understand the material. A lot of reading and writing is required, but she turned a class that I didn't care about into the funnest one of the semester. More teachers should be like this!

The teacher does a fair job in grading. Much of the class is discussion based, however, there is a lot of reading involved. The reading consists of academic work, but a few popular books are included. A 15 page paper will be require along with a subscription to the Washington Post Weekly.

This was a great class, the instructor is very involved and knowledgeable of the subject matter; she is also eager to share information with the rest of the class. I really enjoyed this class, but she is not the easiest when it comes to grading.
