She is subjective in grading the photos you take. If you don't take photos that are in her style or aesthetically pleasing to her, you won't do well. She is a nice person, but if this is how all the photography classes are, then you won't find me in another one.

The class was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I learned a lot and I am really hooked on photography now. The assignments were very challenging but also fun. We looked at a lot of work by other photographers which I liked a lot.

I took Photo I with Elke, and she was absolutely terrible. Her assignments make no sense and she is completely closed-off and rude when you ask her to explain them. And she only gives you letter grades with no comments. Useless. Do not take her classes.
