INCREDIBLE acting professor with a great eye. Put everything you think you know about your craft at the door. She will break you of your bad habits and will make you work for it! DO NOT MISS. She's tough but sweet! Her feedback is sometimes brutal but it is honest and that's what you need in this industry. She cleansed my acne, soul, and life.

Queen Ellen Orenstein is the most fantastic professor and human being. She taught me so much in Acting I that it's hard to even describe it. She will PUSH YOU. I needed that extra push, and she gave it to me. I'm so thankful for her. Listen to every word she says because she is truly a gift that no one deserves. A true treasure.

Ellen is really an amazing teacher. Her class is tough but in a good way. You really have to be open to letting her break you of your bad habits otherwise you won't get everything out of the class that you could. She is really one of the best teachers at Marymount.
