Comment:
Erick does not use any online platform. He made us turn in 5 sets of notes on exam day (out of 7 lectures, so you can miss 2) and thats what he graded. The exams were somewhat easy because the review set is 40 questions and 10 are on the test so if you can memorize, you can pass. somewhat hard and boring but Erick was cool.

This professor was great and somewhat easy. You have 3 major tests and 1 paper. Youll get a study guide with 30-40 questions and he will pick 10 of those for the test. He grades some notes as participation since attendance isnt required. Personally the (online) book only helped when needing to complete the study guide. Theres no final exam.

Took macro/micro with Dr. Erickson. Lectures can seem boring/ hard to understand unless one pays close attention. Free online book & reading aids in understanding and knowing answers to questions on three exams with questions that must be memorized from a list given out days before. Optional extra C test. I recommend macro in summer (shorter).

Took both Econ. 2010 and 2020 with Dr. Erick, he's an excellent professor and really knows the material, the class has 4 exams but only 3 exams are required there's also a term paper; study material is relevant to the exam if you're good at memorizing you'll succeed.

Gives long lectures that sometimes feel disorganized and hard to follow, and often don't feel useful in the broader scope of the class. Very difficult to have first thing in the morning. Nice dude! But his teaching style needs a little work, I think.

Erick is a wonderful and funny guy, you can tell he's been doing this for a while. Class is only graded on the average of three exams and a paper, so make sure you do well on these. He gives out the test questions before the exam so there's no reason to not get an A in this class.

Professor Erickson made Macroeconomics so simple. Everything he goes over with you in class, is all the same things from the textbook. He provides you with study guides for the tests and will drop the lowest score. He will walk you through any problem and will make sure you fully understand. I'd recommend him for anyone!

One of the best professors I have ever had. He explains everything perfectly so that everybody understands. He even explained everything better than the book. He is very understanding and actually listens to student feedback. Best economics teacher at Metro hands down.

One of the easiest classes I've ever taken. Do the homework and the study guides and you'll pass. The study guides are basically the test so just do those and you'll ace the tests. The class was super easy so I will be getting an A, but I don't feel like I really earned it. Erik Erickson is a pretty good teacher, just super easy.

Mr. Erickson is a great teacher. His syllabus gives you answers to everything you can think of throughout the semester. Its clear, he includes the ISBN of your book, he is the definition of "teacher". He comes to class prepared, and helps you navigate through each chapter and knows the difficult parts to elaborate on. GEM!

This class was really easy and I cannot understand economics for the life of me. The professor was really nice and respectable. He gives you study guides and the same questions appear on the test which makes the tests hard to fail. He is fairly disorganized so if you cannot stand people like that be wary. Textbook is free online, so that was nice.

Overall, the class was easy if you applied yourself. Exams are exactly like the study guides, no comprehensive final, one GDP paper (3-5 pages). Erickson is hard to get a hold of so plan on calling his personal cell. We had to get WSJ for class and it is super annoying dealing with cancelation! You can't stop paper delivery.

I really enjoyed his class. Lectures can be long, but are entertaining and very useful. He does expect you to have a grasp on macro concepts but if you engage yourself in the topics it's not difficult. For tests, questions are verbatim from the study guides that he gives you. Two exams (no comprehensive final!) and write an essay on GDP for final.

He knows Macroeconomics, but wasn't very clear on teaching it, especially to those who aren't economics majors. Online textbook was free and the only two tests were straight from the book, the lectures didn't matter. Attendance was extra credit. Had to purchase the Wall Street Journal for homework, but they were simple assignments.

Professor Erickson was a great. He's really knowledgable and wants you to succeed. You'll have to work a little bit in his class. You must read the textbook and attendance is mandatory. Weekly homework assignments are helpful and relevant to class. His study guides contain a lot of test material, I recommend studying them throughly.

He gave a review for every exam and the exams were word for word from the review. Study the review and you'll pass the test. No attendance policy in the class. Hes easy to understand and is willing to help. Not very tech savvy but he's a great professor.

One of the best economics teacher. He knows the subject very well. We have to subscribe to the Wall Street Journal for our assignments and gave us an free online book. He doesn't give an easy A but if you want an A you have to work for it. I recommend him if you want to learn.

Dr. Erickson was great, always willing to help just make sure you give him enough time. Lectures are very structured expect the same thing in his classes. But for the most part he is a good teacher and knows his stuff about Econ.
