Great class. As long as you're consistent with your studying, you should be fine. Lectures are good but you really need to pay attention otherwise it will be difficult to catch up.

Dr. Kim is a great professor. I liked his funny anecdotes in class! But, you need to put in the work. If you actually care about getting a good grade, you would go the extra mile to pay attention in class and study, as with all classes. As long as you do that, he'll try his best to help you out.

Kim made this class interesting by incorporating many of his funny stories. There are homework assignments online based on each chapter but they are pretty easy. The exams are difficult though so you need to study. Although they are difficult he grades them on a curve so it will be hard to fail this class.

Have you ever seen one of those little kid sing along videos where the ball bounces from word to word???? That is this entire class. The only difference is its Dr. Kim with a laser pointer. Just read the PPT and you get as much if not more information than attending class. STUDY for the tests and look in to topics deeper because tests are difficult

Dr. Kim is great & I would definitely take him again. His class is difficult but manageable. He expects a lot from his students in a good way. YOU NEED TO STUDY!! Tests are about 70% of overall grade which is tough, but gives you a study guide. Labs are great & more hands-on learning. He has a great sense of humor. Total Grade is on you!

Prof. Kim is the best! The previous comments are most likely from students who did not put in the effort and expected to get a good grade. This is college. You should expect classes to be more difficult. If you put in the effort, Prof. Kim will try his best to help you. And in the end, it is very rewarding to do well.

This professor is super old school. If you need to take this class it's not impossible to pass, but get ready to put in some effort. My lecture notes saved me because I didn't really read the textbook. Just do your online homework, quizzes and study his reviews before each exam.

He is probably one of the worst professors he isn't clear on anything he teaches and is annoyed when asked questions. He continually over complicates everything he teaches

He wasn't the best professor at explaining concepts. Always jumped around on the PowerPoint giving you no time to copy down the notes. Test were somewhat difficult. If you really understand econ take him. But, if you want a professor that is very good at lecturing, he isn't the best and you'll just be confused the whole semester.

Seems intimidating at first but he's a solid professor who loves to crack jokes. Taken for Managerial Econ, test questions were pulled directly off online homework & quizzes which he goes over in class so attendance is recommended . Don't even need to understand the material to do well on the tests if you study and memorize hw & quiz questions.

I was a little worries about taking his class after seeing some of the reviews. Dr. Kim is awesome! He is really funny. His accent scared me at first but I got used to it after a couple weeks. The tests were not hard at all and Dr. Kim wants you to pass. Also, I do not agree with the comment saying he is heartless at all.

His class was a lot better than my experience with Marco Econ. Overall cool professor. The first two tests are easy, the final was a little harder. He gives you practice questions before each test and a lot end up on the test. Also pretty funny professor so class isn't so boring.

Great Professor. This is not an easy class, but you will learn a lot as an econ major. If you really want to learn something new and interesting take this class. This is a core course for econ majors and is a great class to put on a resume.

Best Professor EVER! TAKE HIM IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GRADE! As long as you work hard and put in the effort, you WILL get an A. The practice questions are great. If you study the practice questions carefully, you can pass the course for sure. IMPORTANT: Test questions are just the practice questions with different numbers.

Great professor, lectures are long. All online homework and extra credit and all 3 exam are based almost exactly off of the review. Willing to help if asked questions. Also sets up his grading system to help his students pass.
