Comment:

Dr. Mackes class is not hard, just very boring. He doesnt use any visual aids and occasionally writes things on the board. He goes off on tangents almost every 10 minutes. If you can understand anything his book says, you should do fine. I mostly just wrote do what he said verbatim and seemed to grasp it.

Comment:

He's a great person. Funny, kind, genuine. His content isn't that difficult. However, if you're taking COM 200, it will likely bore you *senseless*. His lecture style is verbal with minimal use of visual aids, but he does use the board. Pay attention. He goes off on tangents almost seamlessly. Memorize notes VERBATIM. Join the class GroupMe.

This is my favorite professor of all time and I didn't even really enjoy his class. Dr. Macke is easily one of the best people at Mercer. He's funny and very kind to students if you talk to him about your grade or how to improve your essays.

Dr. Macke is a good person and a pretty cool professor. His class is an easy A, but his lectures are very boring. Sometimes hell say something so inspiring that I want to cry, but usually Im busy doodling to distract myself from boredom. Doesnt allow phones to be seen or hell kick you out. Prepare to be bored for an hour or two.

Dr Macke is one of my favourite professors I ever took at Mercer. Lovely teaching style. Keeps you engaged by using real life examples. Everything about this class was great. His personality is so cheerful and admirable. Very respected character. Loved every minute of his classes. I just wished I didn't skip the first two weeks. Thank you Dr Macke

You will learn SO much from this incredibly intelligent professor.The lectures seem to fly by, because he has such a unique way of pulling you into the conversation. Everyone loves his teaching style and the books he chooses. The tests are very straight forward, and he gives helpful study guides. If you come to class and listen, you will be happy.

I've taken about 5 of his classes. Really nice guy. Definitely willing to work with you. Class lectures are SUPER SUPER boring. It's hard to make myself go to class. His study guides are great, if you get the answers and study them, you'll do fine on the tests. I'm taking 2 more of his classes next semester, so I'd recommend him.

Dr. Frank MacKe is a very intelligent guy! However, all he really does is lecture. Lectures are good every once in a while, yes, but they tend to get a little boring. If you keep a firm stand in want you believe and are able to back it up well you will do just fine!

Dr. Macke is a great guy, but I wouldn't take his honors class again if I had the option. It was an hour of him talking about totem poles and peyote...quite confusing at times. He is a good person though, especially when you understand the conversation topic.
