Hes a nice man, but a bad teacher. Lessons are confusing. He gives homework, but doesnt check it so thats a plus, but he doesnt go over anything either. Hes very confusing.

Very clear and easy to follow during lectures. He is willing to always help you understand everything clearly and answers all questions in the best way he knows how. He is very kind and an amazing professor. Would definitely take again.

Comment:

This professor gives you the exam in advance so it is easy to cheat and get an A. However, you learn nothing from him. If you want a A and learn how easy it is to cheat, this is the professor for you. I got my A yet when I when for a job interview, I could not pass what they told me was a 6th grade level test, but I got an A in his MAT 102 course.

Straight forward prof. Textbook was not required as he copied the textbook pages for the class in packets and worksheets. Great at explaining and going through problems, encourages questions and gladly answers them. Homework is not checked. Prepares class well for exams and quizzes. Bring calculators to class.

Prof Bruns is more than qualified to teach calc 1 honors. His lectures are not boring and he cares about his students. Being a math class, you WILL have to put in work if you truly want to do well. Too many students show up and do no work and thats THEIR fault, not the professors. 1-2 hours everyday is enough to achieve that A.

Professor Burns is such a helpful and understanding man. Math isn't my strongest subject, but he helped me completely and thoroughly understand the material. He's very clear in what he expects from students, as long as you pay attention, ask or listen to others questions and do your homework you'll be just fine.

i took professor bruns for a math 002 winter class and it was the greatest decision. i was scared to learn 4 months worth of math in just 12 days but professor bruns made it so great. thoroughly explained everything and made sure all our questions were answered and all our confusion was gone. wish i could take him for every math class!!

Professor bruns is the sweetest teacher I have ever had. He throughly explains every single topic. He assigns homework but it is not mandatory though it does help on the tests. This was my easiest class, not just because I am just good at math but because he will explain topics over and over again until the class understands. Definitely recommend!

Humorous, straight forward teacher. Decent amount of homework (checks it). Tests are exactly like the examples he puts up on the board. Will do anything to help his students get a better grade. Great professor! Take him! (especially if you usually struggle with math)

Proff. Bruna is probably one of the best math teachers you can take, he works with you, sometimes his explanations can be hard to understand but if you ask him to go over it with you he most definitely will. He is always open to help during his office hours. The best part is he always does review before his test, that end up being just like a test.

Comment:

This professor is fantastic. He goes over everything in detail and grades very fairly. Show EVERY STEP you do on the tests for partial credit even if you think its wrong. You have homework but he doesn't check it unless you ask him questions to go over it. This means he doesn't hold your hand and if you put in the work you'll do fine.
