Prof passionate about topic but will ramble you to sleep, he is hard to understand, graphs unclear. Unfortunately turns more students away from Env. Econ. with the type of very harsh grading system. NOBODY in our class got above a 73% for the midterm and 79% was top grade for final. You will READ READ READ a 300$ book and write a ton for answers.

Probably one of the worst teachers Ive ever seen. Discriminates males. His lectures are completely useless... even his book is useless. You can learn everything by heart and you'll still get a bad grade! He runs around girls like 17 year old virgin. Females.. take this class if you want an A ... males I highly suggest to ignore this class!

Terrible Teacher and I am not saying this because of a bad grade...I got an A- in the class....but trust me if you're a guy you definitley should be very careful! He always will favor girls and will literally give them free marks just for being a girl. Any girl reading this (take his class you will do well).

Attending the lectures isn't really necessary, so long as you know what articles he's covering in his textbook. He is often boring and disorganised, but I actually learned something from this class. Very fair marker. Read the articles he tells you to read. Dont worry about iddy-gritty details in the articles. Just know overall picture.

No passion, mumble to himself, pointless, very biased person. He advocated biased personal points which should not be talked at the class. He is unqualified to be a teacher, especial in Canada.

He is the worst professor that I have ever met. No passion, mumble to himself. I really DON`T think that he is a nice guy. He is playing 6/49 with us. Someone who mostly write the whole book got a C + and someone told me he doesn`t even know what he wrote and he got a B+.He`d better retire. If you take his course..GOOD LUCK

Although the man is intellingent, and reasonably nice in person, he can't dish out what he's thinking without making it sound like unintelligible drivel. He doesn't really teach anything understandable in class. You can take Econ 496, but if you do, read the book through and through, he won't really help you.
