BEST PROFESSOR!! Make law so easy to remember. Gives you tips on how to remember laws and will LITERALLY ACT OUT scenes to help you better understand. Goes over grading criteria and reasoning on the first day. 2 midterms, 1 final, 1 homework assignment from tb, 1 group presentation. Tells you the format of exams and the best ways to get full credit

Comment:

Professor Garnica is the best and most logical professor I have ever had. His lectures are interesting and he should definitely be a comedian. He gives a lot of extra credit, the terms to study for each test, and minimal homework. Please take his class. You will learn so much.

Professor Garnica wants every student to do well. He gives up to 8 extra credit points (added on top of your overall grade) just to boost your grade. His tests and his one homework is straight forward and easy to do well in if you study the terms. Terms which he gives you 2 weeks before the tests. I you dont take him you are making the wrong choic

Hilarious, and cares about his students. Create a Quizlet to memorize all the terms. He provides a considerable amount of fun and interactive extra credit opportunities that test your knowledge of the material as well. Great class; definitely take him in the summer if you can.

Hes amazing! Dont waste your money on the textbook like I did . He has all the notes ready for you. If you have bad memory this is going to be a hard course if not its not that hard . This is how you get an A get over a 20 on the midterms , get points on the games, do great on the hw/presentation and do good on the final . Take it on Saturday.

Uses analogies to make law fun and easy to understand. You can just show up to class and chill, study the notes and topics he says will be on the exam and you will get an A. No textbook required at all, save some $$. At the end of the semester, he has 3 classes of extra credit which really boosts your grade.

TAKE HIM ON SATURDAY ! HE MAKES HIS OWN FINALS AND NOT THE DEPARTMENT ONE. LITERALLY TELLS YOU EVERYTHING THATS ON THE TESTS. the amount of extra credit he gives is crazy.

Amazing and hilarious professor. Made me actually enjoy going to class on Saturday. He posts the lecture notes for the whole semester online, just make flashcards for the terms he says are going to be on the test and you'll do great.

Probably one of the best teacher Ive had at Baruch. Took his Saturday class which is 3 hours long, but he always let us out early. His test are a bit hard, but always provided us with a review sheet. Definitely would recommend to take him if you dont mind going to school in Saturdays.

Half of his lectures are funny side stories which are irrelevant to the lesson. You're gonna enjoy his law class tho. make sure to read the book in addition to his notes to better understand the concept. Be mindful of spelling. He is very strict about it which make sense coz it's law. Extra credit games helped a lot of students in our class

Take Garnica if you want an enthusiastic professor who tries to make definitions easier to remember with humor & exaggerated examples -- this is why many like him, b/c it's law and it's a lot of memorization. I got an A by writing every definition on index cards and memorizing (helps with everything), although I didn't listen all the time.

Best law professor at Baruch, hands down. One of the funniest professors I've ever met, a natural comedian. He knows his stuff, very knowledgeable about law and he will teach you a great deal in a very fun and effective teaching style. Makes this class very simple for you, but you need to put in the work because law is not easy. Gives extra credit.

Amazing and funny professor! Definitely, take him in the summer because business law is a tough subject and he makes it less painful in the summer. I love how he teaches because he teaches using analogies and he makes the material easier to understand. The extra credit really boosts your grade. You can get like 3-8 points added on to your grade.
