I took Mrs. Hughes for Soc-101 and it was a cake-walk. Classes were fun and interesting, only 4 exams all semester and they were all take home multiple choice. There is no excuse not to get an A in her class. She is funny and very kind as well; would recommend her to anyone!

Such an amazing teacher. she was always happy, always made jokes, and I still felt like I learned. It was more of a discussion based class, not reading and notes. My only problem is she left and we now have the worst proffesor know to man. But take Mrs Hughes WHENEVER YOU CAN. She is the greatest woman and teacher ever

Professor Hughes is a great teacher. She makes Sociology simple. I previously took Sociology and dropped the class because I had a bad professor. Gail Hughes is wonderful, homework assignments are T&F questions and all exams are take home tests. She does not grade on attendance but you should come to class for hw and exams.

I had to take this class on Sundays due to the Saturday morning class was cancelled. Professor Hughes made it fun to be there, she not only brought her real world experience to the class, she made us laugh, and I learned from her. If I have the opportunity to take her for another class down the road, count on it. She is an awesome professor.

Great teacher! She added personal stories to every chapter to make it comprehensible. She's hilarious, i took her 8am class and she kept me wide awake. She's really easy just go to class the notes are on blackboard and the tests are take home you cant fail this class unless you don't read the chapter to get the answers for the test.

this class is what made me decide to become a psych major. i always enjoyed her class, shes very nice and funny. all her tests were open book and you got several days to work on them. It was definetely an easy A.

I absolutely LOVE this lady. She is so nice with a bubbely personality. I enjoy coming to her class everyday, and i think shes hot. She talks about past experiences and current issues so your always up to date with what is going on in the world of sociology. I highly recommend this professor to anybody taking Sociology.
