Comment:

This class was easy as long as you study and ask questions. Prof Minarick is really laid back and funny at times. Her accent is heavy so can be hard to understand sometimes. Overall, I recommend taking her class.

Like all classes, if you show up, take notes, and do the homework it's an easy A! She is older so sometimes she is hard of hearing and, although half of the lecture is through the computer, she's not exactly tech savy. No phones allowed! Expect online hw, oral presentations, & journals. Give her some respect and she'll be the sweetest!

IF YOU WANT A GOOD GPA AND LEARN SPANISH AT THE SAME TIME, TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!! She is very helpful. Every time I get confused, she makes things simpler using examples. YOU HAVE TO ATTEND THE CLASS EVERYDAY AND DO YOUR ONLINE HOMEWORK TO GET AN A+!

It's beginner spanish and she teahes it speaking spanish. I was completely lost in class. I learned more with my spanish coach game for my PSP. It's a good thing my friend was in that class with me. He's mexican and speaks mexican really good but he got a lower grade than me?!? Stick to the taco bell menu and you'll learn more;) I love tacos!!!

Really a hot/cold teacher. Some days she'll come in pissed off and unhelpful; some days she'll work with you and smile. LOTS of online hw. Hard test grader. If you put effort into your work, she'll recognize it. Just do the online hw and try your hardest, you should do just fine. I'm quite mixed about recommending her.

Alright, So I received an A in espanol 1 and 2 (with different teachers). This teacher assigns a ridiculous amount of online homework. She doesn't care if you don't understand the material, and she will often ignore or misinterpret questions asked in class. She is a HARD test grader, I've never receivd below a 90/100 on a spanish test, and I got a

Native Spanish speaker BUT she is often erratic and moody depending on her personal life. Can just lose it. Not very coherent at times, with assignments or her instruction. Do Not bother to take her class!

Professor Minarick is probably one of the most unorganized professor I have ever had. You will not be able to keep up with all the homework (as she won't either) and at final grade time, it will pretty much be a surprise. She teaches straight out of the book, word for word. You are better off learning the entire subject on your own. She is no help!

Professor Minarick made the time fun and worth while. She appears somewhat unorganized, but when it came down to it she had it all together. She teaches at a number of schools-so give her a break.There is a TON of extra credit and it is practically impossible to fail. Most importantly, I learned quite a bit.

SHE IS A GREAT TEACHER! She laughs, and jokes, and her class is FAR less boring than others. OF COURSE she speaks a lot of spanish... ITS A SPANISH CLASS, NEWFLASH! Years later I can still see her on campus, and she remembers me. If you keep your mind open to learn, you learn, simple as that.

I had Mrs. Minarick about a year ago. First of all, her accent is somewhat thick but she is understandable. And yes, she does speak a lot of spanish, it's a spanish class! She's a very nice woman and kindly accepts late HW. She even bought our class food :] She is wonderful, do your work and you will be fine! If you say she sucks, then you're lazy.

This class was very easy at the beginning but as we reached the end it got a lot harder. She is a very nice and funny teacher. She laughs and tells jokes and stories about herself at least once a day. She speaks spanish the entire time unless she's explaining something complicated. She was a good teacher and I am glad that I had her.

She is not the best of teachers when it comes to learning the material, the class is self taught. She does give alot of extra credit which can make or break your grade. Talk to her if you don't understand, she will take the time to help. If you didnt do well in Span 2, you will struggle with her for Span 3. Overall a nice lady with funny stories.
