Comment:

Don't take this class if you have no prior experience in economics. Dr. Fleming is smart, but also expects everyone to be a fast learner. He teaches very quickly and you have to listen really hard to get notes since he doesn't write them anywhere. He also has a quiz at the beginning of class on the last class material which is hard.

I am a history major and have to take a econ class, I wasn't looking forward to taking this class but I am so glad he was my professor. You will have a quiz almost every day but he only keeps the top 10 out of like 15-20, so don't miss class. He is overall a great professor, he can sound like a southern preacher at times.

Dr. Fleming is the man. He does not deal with excuses. But he will always work with students and is incredibly fair. He was my favorite in the business program by far.

I'm an Econ Minor and I have taken all my intro classes w/ Prof Fleming. In every class he goes over what he talked about the last class. Even though he talks the whole period, he will answer questions and has a lot of flexibility on office hours! His tests are straight from the lecture! Going to class is vert important! I really enjoy his class.

Good Teacher! The class was interesting and I very rarely got bored. One thing I can say is that his class isn't very "active". It really is a lecture. Overall, he keeps you interested and he is really easy to keep up with. But if you take this class, be sure to hit the ground running. Because if you don't, then you'll get left behind!

Dr. Fleming's one of the best professor's I've had in 4 years of college. I'm an English major, but he made Econ make sense and be interesting. He tests straight from his lectures. He covers things many times to make sure you get it. Just an all-around good teacher.

Either you understand him or your screwed. Teaches differently, talks the whole time,does not give practice problems,study guides,or handouts.12 POP QUIZES.If you mess up on the first test your doomed. If your 100% attentive in class,like taking notes and have a strong understanding for Econ then take him. THe first test is crucial!!!
