There are four exams and a final which is double weighted. Drops one lowest exam score excluding the final. I got two D's and two B's on the exams, and a B on the final and still got a B in the class. He's a nice and kind man who gives his students a lot of chances to succeed. Study the notes, read the book, make flashcards and you'll pass.

Secret to passing his class: listen to the main topics to each chapters and get the core idea and memorize them for essay parts & multiple choice.

Great professor! Would 100% recommend him and take him again. I thought his test were very easy, just either read the book or show up for class and take notes. He is so nice he even helped me with my transfer application! Great, kind and amazing human being! Also, beware of the impromptu guitar concert at the end:)

Prof. Zeuschner is one of the best professors I have ever had in PCC. He explains the material really well and his grading criteria is pretty straightforward as well. You will have to read the book and make good notes to get an A in the class. Overall, this class is something I truly recommend for everyone to take.

I did not find that the lectures were essential to earning a good grade. Reading the chapters at least twice and taking good notes on them helped the most. Overall, not a difficult class but you really have to study for the tests and he drops the lowest!

4 exams and drops lowest (the final replaces the grade of your lowest). You must read the book in order to get an A. His class is once a week 3 hours long so be sure to attend every one. He gives you hints and many times tells you what's going to be on the exam. Such a nice and caring man. Class is not an easy A but a very easy B.

He is an amazing lecturer, and an incredibly nice professor. The only thing was that it was really hard to get an A on his tests so I recommend reading the chapter twice for your best chance at an A. But no homework or anything and the multiple choice is not hard, only the free answer can be a little tricky.

As long as you read and jot lecture notes you will be fine. Tests based completely off reading/lecture. No homework besides reading which is highly recommended. If you're not interested in the subject then that's your opinion, you chose the class, not the professor's fault. Straight forward test, easy class, easy A,

Prof. Zeuschner's lecture is kind of boring but as long as you read the book and know the main ideas in the book, you will be able to manage his class. My class in on Friday, three hours, pretty long and hard to stay focus. He know the stuff but his lecture is not interesting.

I took Zeuschner for Philo 3 & then Relgs 2 because he's a great professor. You need to read, take notes, ask questions, and go to class. The work you put into the course will be reflected on your grade. He's approachable & wants everyone to do well. No assignments. Ask him to play his guitar and he probably will. Great experience.

Wonderful professor! Everything is Crystal clear in this course. Although long lecture, but the textbook he uses is in Simple English and categorized so its easy to understand the ethical theories. The chapters themselves are short. Only 4 Exams and a Final. Textbook Reading and attendance are essential to passing. Overall, Very Recommended!

Dr. Zeuschner is very nice and approachable. Although this was an 3 hr class but I always felt like the class went by too fast. The materials he covered were all very interesting. His tests are not difficult. Like he said, he really want you to pass. Take notes during lectures and read the study guides and you get an A.

I believe this professor only does 3 hr classes, and that is why it is important you go to class to hear the lecture and understand the reading. He can be entertaining, and honestly wants discussion in the class, but most people shy away. READ THE TEXTBOOK. No assignments, just a few tests. Study, ask if you don't understand, & you should be good.

In this class taking notes is a MUST. His test are not that tough but YOU NEED TO READ AND STUDY. He is funny at times which makes long lectures interesting. There isn't any room for discussion which I would have liked. Other then that he is great professor and class is also very awesome

I was so excited to take Zeuschner because of all the good ratings. I was disappointed. He's very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. But, he is more like a storyteller - a very good one - rather than someone who can initiate discussions. Also, sometimes I feel like he's just preparing you to take his tests and get A's.
