Awesome guy, awesome class. He is truly passionate about what he teaches and tries to make you passionate too. Really funny and always happy to meet with you after class. Does have some issues engaging all of the class in discussions but when you do participate, he really listens to what you have to say.

When you talk in class George gets this little glinty thing in his eye that makes you feel like you made the most worthwhile connection with the text, and, moreover, that you are a wonderful human being. His classes should be taken for that alone, but he is also truly engaging and manages class time as well as anyone. Take a class with him!
