Easy going and understanding but close to no preparation for the midterm and final. Spends a majority of time talking about personal things and if you dont show up to class she marks it against you even though if you skip class you probably arent missing out on much.

Comment:

I took Gina at SUNY Plattsburgh and I thoroughly enjoyed her class. She does talk a lot and goes off on tangents but I did pick up some public speaking tips so that's helpful. Her rubric is extremely easy to follow and since she's easy to talk to, nobody should have trouble communicating with her. I suggest taking this class.

I think she was a great person and teacher. I had her as a public speaking teacher and enjoyed her class enough to take literature and film with her as well. Do not forget to do your homework in her class or study.....she will not feel bad and you will fail

thank goodness its done.Class is easy. She is a nice person. Bad teacher. If you want to be annoyed with your teacher yet have an easy class, then she is your woman. I tend to have very good relationships with my professors. I can honestly say I disliked her. She does not pay attn to your speech, she does other work and grades how she likes.

Show up, put forth geniuine effort in your speech. You will pass and get a good grade. Her tests aren't horribly hard, shes says that herself. She suggested to my class to study during the commericals whilw we watched TV! She knows Public speaking embarasses people If you volunteer to go 1st or near it she will grade little easier She IS FAIR

Gina was a great teacher. She is very fair and fun. She understands all are nervous but if you DO your work and give effort you will do just fine. She doesn't choose favorites whatsoever but includes everyone. She doesn't put up with crap and stupid excuses though if you feel like slacking.

Very good teacher. Do your work, show up get up and show GENUINE effort in your speechs you WILL pass. She tells funny stories and understands people are nervous. Most here seem to be whiners who probally slacked off and didn't do anything most of the semester.

Some of you sound like slackers to me- show up, do your speech- you'll pass. Very nice, very fair, very supportive for those with public speaking jitters! I would highly recommend her!!
