LOVED this class! Definitely my favorite class I have taken at Berry, however it was not easy. You really have to put in the time to study for his tests. Do all the reading assingments- there are many quizzes. Taking good notes is a must, don't just write down what he puts on the board. He is a wondeful teacher!

Challenging prof. for those taking his courses as electives, but still worthwhile. His NT & OT Interpretation courses are must-take for Christians, and many other courses are extremely worthwhile for anybody with an interest in religion. ***Try to get him to do a directed study on Christian mysticism.

Interpreting the Old Testament. This class shouldn't be taken if you are looking for an easy A. This class challenges your thinking and requires you to read. You don't have to be in class, but you do have to know what is going on. Taking good notes is a must. I recommend him if you have a passion about the Old Testament but be ready for a challenge

A conservative school you say? You couldn't be more WRONG!! I have been a student here for 4 years and my father worked here for 20 years. This college has become liberal to the greatest extent. A conservative school this once was, however those days have been gone for nearly a decade.

Dr.Hill is one of the best professors I've had at Berry. I learned so much in his classes and had so much fun. He's a little hard, but it's totally worth it. Everyone should take him at least once.
