Comment:

This professor was extremely interested in my success and I' am very grateful for her assistance. It's funny when people in the back of the class complain about the professor when they don't contribute to class discussions and never ask questions. This professor is top notch. However you must involve yourself to get an A.

These ratings are very harsh. If you're looking for a blow off class or not very serious about applying to grad school then don't take her course. Yes, she may be difficult but you learn a lot of valuable info for future study. If you study hard, go to her office hours and ask for constant revisions, it IS possible to get an A (I managed to do so).

She is a very intelligent. When I first met her I was excited that she would be teaching my class. I soon changed my mind. Like I said, very smart but cannot teach. She teaches as if we know all of the answers already. She is also somewhat disorganized. The up side, when you need help, she does offer good advice and is willing to take the time.

She is intelligent and passionate, but her teaching methods are appalling. She taught us as if we already knew all of the material. We received two different homework schedules that sometimes conflicted. Then she would verbally give us completely different homework due dates. I am a 4.0 student, and I would never recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Noice is NOT a professor to be taken lightly. If you are not 100% committed to a future in psychology, avoid this professor at all costs. The problem is her passion is for cognitive psychology, not teaching. Her teaching methods are poor, powerpoints are useless, and exams are difficult. The term paper is borderline impossible to do well on

She is a good person, but expects students to know everything as if we are graduate students. She always tells you to refer to stats class notes, while in stats we never learned that. Only looks at your paper once and is not clear in what she wants. Also, embarrasses students if they ask her a question over email.

Research methods is a hard course but she was very helpful. Make sure you do the paper sections ahead of time bc then she will revise everything. Make sure to make appointments to meet with her if you need help bc she is there to help, she even gave us her home phone number in which we called her when our group had a quesgtion. VerY HELPFUL!

Dr.Noice is absolutely horrible. She was unclear about all the material and taught like you should of known the material already like an expert. She will embarrass you if you are not paying attention in class which is fine because in the end she is the professor but she is not a nice person. Makes you feel stupid if you ask a question and rude.

Dr. Noice is a great teacher. She may call you out and embarrass you if you are not focusing in class, but she expects you to pay attention. She expects you to have each component of the study done on time, turn in your work for review. If not, your research report grade will suffer.

Professor Noice is really nice and very helpful- if you want her help she only wants you to meet with her during office hours or through email. She is very helpful when you meet with her! :) Overall her teaching skills are good and understandable, but she does expect that you learn it right away!

I found Dr. Noice to be a great teacher. I struggle with math more than any other subject - was really frightened of this class. Surprisingly, it turned out to be my favorite of the semester! The material is more complicated than difficult, but she explains clearly and is very willing to give extra help. Definitely knows her stuff!

She's nice and tries to help but she does expect you to know certain things already. If she sees you are trying to learn the material and that you attend and participate in class then you will be on her good side. At times she does forget what she assigned but keep all work that gives back for proof she at times forgot to write down scores.

Great teacher! She does a really good job of taking math and making it relate to a bunch of Psych majors who are terrified of doing anything with numbers. As long as you participate in class and follow along, you should not get lost. She also has a really good dry sense of humor.

some of her lectures can be out of order and she expects you to learn the stuff fast. as long as you do the assignments and come prepared for each class you will have no problem. the tests are very similar to the homework assigned. schedule time outside of class to meet with her - its very helpful!

Dr. Noice is by far THE BEST professor that I have ever had! She is very clear and always (ALWAYS) willing to help! Everything you need is in the book (literally)! I loved her class!!! 100% recommend!

Dr. Noice is very smart, and knows her research. She is more than willing to help her students and even helps find article that relate to their research. The tests so far have been straightforward. Every class has been interesting!

She is a very smart prof I'll give her that, but she thinks that everyone should already know pretty much everything that she isn't about to teach you. If you struggled in stats you might want to retake the class before you take methods because she just expects you to know all about it. She tries to be helpful but really isn't, even out of class.
