This was the first class and the only class I took in fall semester at Inver Hills; transfer student. Heidi is an amazing proffesor and truly wants all her students to do well. She will answer any question you may have and her lectures are entertaining.

I'm a bio major. Took my first ever college course with her and LOVED IT. She is super straight forward in lecture and if you read and follow instructions then you will do great. Lab can be hard but you learn a lot. Tests are easy if you do what she says and pay attention.

Comment:

Lecture tests are embarrassingly easy and there's a generous amount of extra credit on them. She is very unclear on when tests and homework are due, so if you are unsure ask! Some lab tests are impossible, others are super easy. READ THE CHAPTER ON YOUR OWN AND TAKE YOUR OWN NOTES A. I'm serious. She's a nice lady.

Heidi is, by far, the most phenomenal professor I've ever had. She's clear, down-to-earth, and very helpful. She expects her students to be responsible and put in the time, but is more than willing to work with you or lend a hand when you need it. She has made me more excited about biology than I ever thought I could be.

Best professor I have ever had in my entire college life. She loves what she teaches and gets you excited about it too. Her exams are super fair and she does not try and trick you.

Heidi is a wonderful person and professor. She is a true gem and would be at any school. I am so lucky and fortunate to have had her as a professor. If you are a hard working student who can take interest in the topic, you will do fine. Take her class and you will see what a true professor is. I will never forget her or her class. Overall Heidi is a great teacher. Anatomy was a very hard class but she makes the class fun and very interesting. She wants you to succeed and she will help you in any way possible. Her tests are hard, but if you put in the time studying you will be fine.

Heidi is one of the nicest,most helpful, easiest teacher out there!! Take her class hands down over any professor. Power points all on test.&self test are 100% helpful if you do them expect and A or a B on the test. Labs go by very easy and she never rushes, she wants student to succeed and she wants student to talk and ask questions shes corky&fun

She was a great teacher to have. It is a bit hard to get used to how she grades at first and she is really picky with answers on assignments and tests which makes it hard but she explains everything very well and she is entertaining to listen to through lectures.

Heidi is a WONDERFUL teacher and person. She truly wants everyone to succeed and is willing to be very helpful. She explains things, bio sciencey terms, in plain language and is great at analogies that helped me get this stuff! Grading is pretty fair, she is pretty disorganized but a great teacher because she seems like she loves what she does!

Very difficult tests. Will dumb topics down in lecture and then make the test hard. Had lab scheduled to be cancelled twice and then made us come in anyway. she knows what she's talking about in biology. Very willing to work with you as well. However I disagree with her policy of "you have to get an A on at least 1 test to get an A in the class."

You need to do the homework. Her tests are tough. Sometimes she talks to us like we are her children which is a bit degrading. She is a little scattered but she loves biology and has a dry sense of humor.

She is a fabulous professor, a truly great teacher. Very knowledgeable, excellent organization & communication skills, also kind & approachable. She has high expectations but is completely fair, even I think generous with her grading. You will learn a lot from her. Seems a little flighty sometimes, but don't let that fool you, she's sharp!
