Comment:

I come from a High School that only cared about football and the advanced math teachers were mainly cheer coaches/other sponsors. Math is my worst subject and to add to that my teachers barely taught anything. Prof. Crow somehow taught me 4 years of math in one quarter. He explained everything so clearly and his youtube channel helped so much.

lets be real Crow is fast paced and although he will assist his students in the moment he is also ready to leave just as fast as other students. when it comes to test its given a month after and if you are not good with math and have 8 other classes it could be very overwhelming. its a hard class STATS in general. but im retaking with another pro

I am horrible at Math and was super nervous to take Trig. Crowe is a great teacher who really cares about students making a good grade. It really isnt hard unless you dont pay attention and dont do Math Lab. He has tons of youtube videos if you dont understand and has the final take place of your lowest grade.

Comment:

Crow's a great teacher to have because he enables you to make an "a". But, that grade does not come easy. The homework was outrageous, every night you should spend at least two hours on it to be caught up. He is very respectful, humorous, and easy to access outside of class. He WILL prepare you for future math classes. Posts math vids on youtube.

Not a bad choice. Definitely not the worst professor. I'd definitely say sit towards the front so you can focus on what he's talking about; he definitely knows what he's teaching though. He also has a YouTube where he uploads a lot of notes.

Very good teacher, but he tests are unnecessarily hard and requires the answer but he wants you to go father than the answer. I would recommend him if you want to be challenged at the best ability, but if you want to learn the necessities and be good at them, I would recommend you take someone else besides Crow.

Good teacher who comes off as rough, but really cares about his students. Just show up to class and take notes, and put some effort into studying and youll do fine.

Crow is that kind of professor that seems intimidating on the first day. However, once you get to know him, hes a great guy. If you take him be warned, he is a very sarcastic and quirky individual. His lectures are not always by the book but they are simple. Do the homework daily and complete the study review and you should do just fine.

He teaches you exactly what you need for the tests. He is easy to talk to and communicates well outside of class with emails. He's very accommodating with his students.

He is good at explaining the material and his tests are pretty much what you learned in class. As long as you do the homework and pay attention in class, you should do good on his tests. He also gives extra practice questions that are similar to his test questions if you feel like you need extra help.

Dr. Crow seems like a gym teacher, which sounds like an insult for a math prof but I can't make a better analogy. He focuses hard on the basics, doesn't assume that you're naturally good at the subject (and doesn't hold it against you if you are) & is just a good teacher. I'd taken calc 2x before, and finally learned how to do limits in his class.

Crow can be boring, but he teaches the material well. The reviews for his test are straight from the book, but are very similar to the test. He is a genuinely nice guy, and I will be taking him again.

He seems difficult at first but he really cares, he is good if you go to his office hours, plus he has a math youtube channel to explain chapters even more if you can't go to office hours. If you don't understand something he'll make sure you get it

Although he presents the material in an easy to understand way, he is very harsh on grading. 4-5 hrs of studying a day for 2 weeks and I barely made a C. ABSOLUTELY NO partial credit. Also, he always seemed like you should already know the answer to any question you asked. Would not recommend.

Really enjoyed this class. Could be confusing if learning material for the first time but he is ready to help. Takes forever to post test grades. Most of his tests are pretty easy if you do the review he posts.

He is a pretty good teacher. I liked him, except he doesn't allow you to use a calculator for this class. I think that was one of the hardest things to get used to. He gives partial credit which is amazing!!! You do not really need the book, i just used my mathlab for studying.

I loved him for calculus I. I am taking him again for calculus II. I highly recommend taking him whether you're good at math or not! He gives reviews for all of the tests, and while lengthy, they cover most of the material that is on the test so there usually isn't any surprises.
