Other than the first week of classes, never heard from him after that whatsoever. Loved the lab with Cynthia Marlatt in person, but I don't even know if the class is technically over. No tests, just webassign assignments that can for the most-part be googled. 85 or higher is considered an A. If you can work independently, take it. If not, don't.

I didn't buy the textbook and I was fine. Took this class online only have to do 2 assignments a week on webassign. No tests. HE DOES NOT ANSWER EMAILS. If you need clarification on a question he will respond to your message and tell you to "look at the book/notes" absolutely NO help. If you email him about anything else HE WILL NOT ANSWER.

Trying to figure out why this guy even teaches, he has no interest in class or students. This is an on-line, but all you do is online quizzes. There is no communication & when you email him with concerns he is insulting & gives impression that your bothering him. Still never addressed my actual question..Who is this guy & why is he here?...

I was worried taking him for intro astro because of the bad reviews here. I took the course online and got an A. No exams, just homework online that is open book/note. No contact with the professor through the semester, a do it yourself kind of class. When I did email him he was snarky and made me feel stupid. Take it online!

This professor is AWFUL. He has little to no office hours. I tried getting help and he told me to my face well its in the book. If not for the lovely GAs I would have failed. Go to the GAs for help. I don't know why EMU hasn't fired this guy. Even the faculty in the physics department know this guys is bad. bad experience.

TAKE IT IN THE SUMMER, if you have to take it with him. Horrible lecture, not worth going. No exams this spring term, grades are only on web homework. Lecture does help on homework, but if you can figure it out yourself, your grade will be fine. If taking the MCAT, take another course. You wont learn anything :(

Extremely disrespectful. Rude. In a world of his own. Absolutely, the worst teacher I have ever had. I have had tons of science classes, he is just horrible. I learned nothing. If it hadn't be for my lab GA I would have failed the course. Eastern should fire him. Absolutely hated his style of teaching. Don't take him!

He assumes that you have a high knowledge in math. He is not the easiest teacher, but if you keep track with the homework online (which ends up being most of your grade) you will do fine. I got an A in the class with not too much struggle (i just turned in all homework assigments, which allowed me to have average scores on the tests)

Should not be teaching period. He is not helpful and help that is offered comes in the form of "well it's in the book". A fellow classmate tried to defend him by saying the subject material is hard, even though on the mid-term the highest grade in the class was 30 out of 100. He should be fired.

Very hard subject, very unhelpful teacher. His writing is often illegible, and he moves through subjects too quickly. If you get stck with him, your best chance is to do as many homework problems as possible.

The WORST teacher I have ever had!!.. The avg on our first exam was 30%!!.. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE teacher, does not explain things clearly, makes you feel stupid when you ask questions, and if u wanna learn this stuff for the MCATS, u WON'T. His exams are crazy hard and in the dumbest format I've ever seen. And he has an annoying voice if u ask me

Perhaps the worst teacher I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. He is demeaningly sarcastic while being useless for help. Any question you have is answered by "look in the book." He doesn't care about the class or students. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. ps, this comes from a student who will get a B+ in the class.
