Few words can describe him: FRUSTRATING AS HELL..!!! Boring, no motivation at all. Tax Law is difficult already to have an incompetent professor like him "teaching" it. Incomprehensible! talks 'bout random stuff... does not focus on material. Please RETIRE. They are students who come to school to NOT WASTE TIME and DO WELL. U DO NOT HELP AT ALL =(

terrible professor! he just went on and on and on with his mumble jumble and jargon with no end and clarity in sight. an extremely frustrating professor to have to listen to, lazy and poor speech, mood-damping sarcasm, he's one of those professors who have burnt out a long time ago and not willing to retire. please dont take him!

I gave him 'hot' for amicable personality, but his class is a tough one to pass. Expect to work your butt off for a 'C'. Unless your mind is wired for the pitfalls that come with taking taxation as a law.

boring class. The first couple weeks were actually really interesting... after the first exam everything just got so boring and hard to keep up with. So many definitions. Everyone else is right, he's a really nice guy who does seem to know his stuff.. it's just a boring topic. read the book before class if u want it to be a lil less boring.

If you expect that just showing up to class entitles you to an A, then Solomon is not your guy. There is no spoon-feeding, just a difficult subject with fair tests. Solomon gives this class some pizzazz, but the rest is up to you.

i don't particualrly like law. this is a hard course; there's a lot of verbose material, and you obviously have to do the work to get anything out of classes. he wasn't clear on the explanations for the homework assignments, which really sucked when it came to revising. i can't imagine this course being taught by a nicer lawyer.

The worst prof ever. He is old and forgets his sentences all the time. We know all about his daughter and nothing about the class. He does not explain but in order but jumps from one section to a chapter to a whole different section to another chapter. I studied the material top to bottom myself and he still gave me a D. I asked him to give me a F

He is the absolute best! Students are so lazy nowadays, dont study then when they get a bad grade blame the professor, dont listen to them! Im glad I didnt follow most of the ratings when I took him. Got A and he was very interesting, the best actually! I learnt a lot about the course & life. Got some free advise too; him being a lawyer. LOVE HIM!

The BEST! Had him for 30 & 40 last semester while doing 16 credits.You need to read before class, do HW and go over them in class to make sure you understand & study of course. His stories are impt, they help explain the material. Got A in both is class & I was pregnant! Im a grad student now, use to look forward to his classes (two in a day)

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He does not care if you show up to his classes or not, does not give you any home work and gives you a difficult midterm and even more difficult cumulative final. The professor Solomon does not teach a lot just tells boring jokes.
