First, Trischman's exam are fair, they were similar to the previous exams she posts as practice. She also grants multiple opportunities for extra credit by voluteering or answering questions. The online hw could be limited, but doable. Also a very nice. However, the fifth exam was VERY rushed (NMR) and then was surprised that the class did bad.

Dr. Trischman is a wonderful professor. She really cares about helping students at office hours, providing lots of past "practice" exams and resources, and giving lots of flex point opportunities. It is very true when they say OChem is mostly memorization though. Def a tough class. And she has quizzes every day, so keep up with reading!

Dr. Trischman doesnt seem to care about students. Her lectures are not very helpful and she is quite rude. The practice exams is what helped me pass the course. The daily quizzes and hw are a waste of time. Im sure you can pass this class if you try, but if you want to learn and understand ochem, I recommend taking it with a different professor.

Shes an intelligent professor Id give you that but her lectures are really disorganized even with her prewritten notes. The 3 point quizzes she gives each day are HARD. It also makes it easier to miss out on tedious points that add up at the end. The hw on owl does not help with exams and is time consuming. Try this class with Iafe or Gonzalez.

Jackie is great and funny! However this class was a Gen Ed course for me. Though it was fun to learn about chocolate we rarely learned about chocolate. Her lectures are confusing and at times difficult to understand. There are a lot of group projects that she assigns. However if you do good on quizzes and group work youll do fine!

The class is interesting. I am not a fan of all the group work required. Also, she asks questions on tests about chocolate that has SO much possible information so it's hard to remember everything. On the plus side, she typically sticks with the same chocolate questions throughout the rest of the semester. She doesn't grade on time which sucks.

Prof Trischman is a really great professor! She's always prepared for class with pre-written lectures. Beware she does a 3 point quiz each class and if you miss you'll be totally lost, so don't miss class! This class is tough, but if you put in the effort and time you will do well. I'm guessing that I will get a B in the class.

I really enjoy Dr.T's class. She is really helpful and you should read the next content before the quizzes. She helps us enjoy the class and encourage us to study to pass the course. It's really cool to be in her class.

Her lecture notes could not be more clear, make sure you take really good notes. If you do that, there's no way you can fail her exams. As far as the ACS goes, you're gonna have to review the material from the first semester on your own. To be completely honest, the ACS exam is made up mostly from the concepts learned in the first semester.

This class was awesome! Quizzes aren't too bad if you study and you get chocolate after each quiz. She's a good professor and this was my first ever chem. class and she gave me a great first impression on the subject. She marks out a lot of points on quizzes or tests so that was frustrating at times. The end of semester group project was also fun

This is a class that requires a lot of time in both lecture and lab so if you're planning on taking another 6 hour lab & hard course along with it,be prepared. Quiz once a week on chapters of material (these are your tests) & written lab write up once a week. Last 2 weeks of class u have 2 in class finals, 1ACS final, 2 structure projects

Dr. T is an amazing professor. She really wants all her students to do well. She gives SEVERAL extra credit opportunities ranging from1 -12pts & it can add up to 20 points at the end of the semester! CHEM 201 is challenging but if you read, do/understand the homework, and take advantage of office hours and STEM center, getting an A is so possible!

TAKE THIS CLASS. I am NOT a numbers person. 5 quizzes or so, 3 exams and one final. Big on group projects. This class is not easy, but she is such an phenomenal professor she makes it preferable. I actually look forward to this class. It is definitely enjoyable. Pay attention, take notes, you'll get the grade. Also, she's extremely helpful.

Ochem is a hard class regardless of the professors. Trischman did not provide a lot of information to benefit for the ACS. her lectures were very broad. You have to really learn the material on your own. She is a nice woman and is very approachable and will help if you ask. her quizzes are open note, very hard, 40pt but you only have 20 min.

Hardest class ever. In the beginning she reassures people that if you dont have chem knowledge you will do fine and she will work with you. Total lie. Lectures were confusing, had little to do with chocolate. Practice quizzes are nothing like the real quiz. If you're going to take this for credit, I suggest you rethink. nice lady bad teacher

Dr. T is the most amazing professor I have ever had. She is willing to help at anytime, and she always has a smile on her face. show that you're interested in the subject and she'll be even happier to help you. the only bad thing about her is that sometimes she says thing are not going to be on a test, but we get tested on them.
