I really liked the material she chose for this class on female minsters. Her lectures were very in depth and smart. I ended up getting a very low grade on participation even though I posted in the discussion board almost every week so make sure to post a LOT if you take her online class.

Dr. Elliott is an amazing professor. She is very knowledgeable about the subjects she teaches and make everything accessable to the students in the class. I would definitely take her again.

Comment:

Took her accelerated course. Really nice professor. She is really smart and into new topics and new books/stories. Into sex so it kinda makes the class a bit interesting. Write an assignment every class, 1 paper, 1 in class essay, group project and a final. Sounds bad but it really wasnt. Just expect a B or C. Take her though, wont regret it

She is a fun lady with her own unique sense of humor. She is pretty easy going and is open to a variety of opinions on matters. She selects some interesting readings, but it makes the class go by faster than if you were constantly reading the same thing. She does give daily quizzes on the readings, but if you did the readings you will be fine.

She is a really quirky woman who is very funny, at least in my opinion haha. Writing assignments almost everyday, a group project, an in-class writing assignment, and a final exam. Pulled a B+ with minimal effort - I'd suggest this for a third English class.

i thought she was great. she has her personal opinions on different issues but she won't force you to believe in them nor will she laugh at what you say, even if it is the stupidest thing in the world. the class is about women,it must be fun. mid and final exam, hard but not impossible. you won't regret taking her but gotta work hard for the A.

You'll like any class you take with Dr. Elliott, and you'll learn in it. She uses course packets (you only buy what you'll use) and they're cheap. She is clear and patient with questions, and her classes tend to take on a conversational atmosphere when possible. She does keep on track, though. Her sense of humor makes class interesting and fun

Elliot is great. She seems a little strange at first, but once the class gets rolling you can totally tell that she's got a sense of humor and she gets really relaxed. The class is really based on participation, so don't sign up if you're not willing to talk. It's a little difficult, but it's nothing any normal college student couldn't handle

I was taking a 400-level Engl class at the same time and I had more reading for this class. She IS funny, entertaining, and she repeats herself (which is good if you miss class.) She gives extra credit and takes attendance. I would not recommend her unless you have time to read 60 pages every night.

so hard and all 8 talk about n engl 102 is feminism and marxist theories, it is oh so boring, and not fun 2 learn @ all,other 102 classes do poetry,she is such a hard grader,u read 7 novels, many short stories all about dystopian stuff, it is so dreadful, please get out, she does offer E.C. and will grade it hard! she is VERY FUNNY though!

Exams are fair & u only have 2: midterm & final. Papers r easy, but do a lot of analysis.She has the most interesting tastes n reading material so u won't b bored. Class participation is a must & she gives pop quizes. They're easy as long as u do u'r hw.She's very nice, & she gives extra credit.Study guides r given. U watch very interesting movies!

She really gets you out of the "high school" writing mode. Lets you revise all of your papers. Has favorites in the class. Gives alot of extra credit IF you participate..all of the books we read were interesting...not the easiest class in the world..it's ok..you have to put in some effort for an A

Wow.Dr. Elliott is a great teacher who really makes students enjoy coming to class.You better keep up with the reading and write well, but if you give a solid effort, you'll get at least a B.She made the class so interesting and is very willing to talk about anything with students.
