Hard class b/c there is so much to do.She does expect a lot from everyone, but she's also a great help in explaining.She's straight forward & will call u out, but then again her lectures are extremely boring and repetitive. Tough grader, everything must be correct for a good grade. She's must better during office hours! recommend if u love english.

Expects too much. Homework takes so long that you don't even have time to start the research paper until the last week of school. She is also extremely rude and a very hard grader. Good luck passing her class.

The first few weeks of this class are difficult, but once you get past them it becomes easier. Must attend class, and take notes during lectures. She seems intimidating, but she isn't. If you're struggles she is more than helpful, and always there to talk too. She is really anal about emails, and assignments. Just do things how she wants them done.

Uggggh, did we all take the same professor? Because I am extremely surprised in these comments. Although I got a passing grade, this professor was extremely difficult. I dreaded turning in any paper for fear that I might have accidentally put the world "IT" in it. As much as she says she is your "coach," she isn't. Never again.

Professor Titus is wonderful and incredibly helpful although sometimes it is hard to really understand what she wants. She is very picky but in a good way and I believe she wants her students to be successful and is willing to help them get there.

I don't know about all those other comments. But if you like to be overworked and completely overwhelmed with so many directions she is definitely not the teacher for you. I believe she is the worst teacher I have ever had and definitely has no grace in her bones. She is stiff necked and rude.

Mrs. Titus excepts a lot out of her students, but the ten week quarter goes by very fast in her class because she teaches so well. Titus really wants all her students to do well and she will do whatever it takes to make you succeed. Five-six papers, Journals every week, multiple precis, and SSR time (just like in middle school)

Ms. Titus is a hard teacher in the sense that she expects a lot, and assigns a lot of work. If you just do what she says and don't complain you will do well. She makes you a better writter. I am not good in Eng & she helped me a lot. Class has a lot of homework, no tests, and extra work. She is extremely helpful & wants her students to succeed.

Ms Titus takes individual interest in all of her students. If you are willing to put in the work, you will see rewards. I do not mean in grading, she may hurt the transcript even, but you will see considerable advances in your writing abilities guaranteed.

incredibly hard to get any grade above a C. she has banned words that you can't use in any papers, such as "it" and "that". she has incredibly high standards that are almost impossible to meet. very uptight and unclear on assignments. all of the wps are lame and have no point. the last one is the worst and most confusing.

Tough professor but I guarantee you will learn how to write. She is extremely helpful but gives a lot of work. A total of 6 writing projects, worksheets, journals, silent reading book all were reuired for her class. Recommend professor Titus for those who are willing to put effort. Great English teacher. Alot of work, but interesting work. She is tough, but not rude and was always interesting in lecture. Always willing to help and is a very kind person. I would recommend her to anyone who has a passion for English.

For the person below. Now one said she was tough. Everyone said she is rude. Don't you pay attention to detail. That is something Titus teaches. But i think Titus is that way because she has a lawyer as a husband. She's up tight and needs to retire.

She wasn't that difficult, geez. There are 5 writing projects, three of which are only a page or so. She does give a lot of work but she is super helpful. She does take role so if you are lazy and can't get to school on time, don't take her. Some classes should require a little work, you aren't in high school anymore!

**HORRIBLE** If you need to take this class, take it with another teacher. Titus is VERY rude and intimidating. She treats students like they are in middle school. Takes attendance and actually gives tardies! PLUS she has the most annoying voice ever!
