Comment:
I learned more about her Scottish heritage than anything else. Left with a very poor foundation in cultural anthropology.

Absolutely the worst and most unhelpful teacher I have ever had in my 15 year academic career.

Comment:
Her class is not overly entertaining and is not in fact overly helpful in succeeding in the course but it is an easy class. She mostly tells personal stories and random things and opinions that don't pertain to the course. Your grade is based on a midterm and the final and she hands out study guides that are the way to pass. Didn't learn much, easy

She seems vary smart but her class is a mess. She doesn't ever talk about the textbook. It's an easy class if you can stay sane. Don't learn all that much. Oh and her Honda, sadly last year she was involved in an accident. She is okay but her Honda was totaled. She bought a brand new Honda.

While she does have *some* interesting stories, her class is a complete waste of time. Almost nothing she says pertains to the material covered in the textbook, and her movies follow suit. Though in the beginning this may seem easy, it is difficult to want to come to class EVER. My interest in politics may be lost for awhile thanks to her.

I had to drop the class because she made politics SO BORING, and I AM interested in them normally. She is educated, and patient, but she lectures and videos, lectures and videos, and it doesn't even pretain to the reading.

talked about her honda that gets good gas mileage more than anything else. I also know that she voted for Ralph Nader, and once got stuck in a flood in Colorad springs. She's a divorcee and raise her children on her own. I dont, however, know anything about government that hadn't learned through other media. Terrible teacher.

Comment:
very well educated woman who covers a lot of material; students must have a broad knowledge of history, politics, and anthropology in order to enjoy her class; great teacher - developed some challenging ideas in her class
