Comment:

Incredibly nice, the class is a challenge but she tries her best to help EVERYONE understand. Its important to study and pay attention because she likes to randomly call names and will ask them questions on the spot, if you do not know the answer she doesnt get angry, she explains further. Great teacher.

Comment:

Didn't like her very much in first year as she is strict but warmed up to her second year. As long as you go to class and put the work in, she will do everything she can to help you succeed. She is a very sweet woman and funny too! She also lets you correct tests for half marks on the questions you messed up on, which is very helpful for marks.

I absolutely love her, she's an awesome prof and I recommend a lot of people to take her class. My high school teachers weren't very good at teaching verbs and she helped me understand them so much better.

Always likes to make you laugh, and her teaching style is incredible. I've had some good profs, but she redefines amazing. I totally recommend taking her class, especially if you're a first year and/or majoring in French.

As high as my ratings are, they speak nothing about the class itself. For one such as myself who is fairly to very proficient in French, this course is an unfortunate prerequisite to harder French courses. This course is 100% material covered in grade school. Two thumbs down from me.

J. Gaudet is so nice and so helpful if you need anything. She is quiet, yes, so listen up. You have to work hard in her classes, but that's what we're in university to do. I have gladly signed up for more than one of her classes! :)

Dr. Gaudet is seriously the nicest woman ever! She will help you with anything and is just generally easy to talk to, but here's the catch...you have to talk to her! Had 1556 with her and this class and I would take another. She may not be the easiest professor but atleast you learn something!

I absolutely could not stand this class. I found it completely repetitive and by the end of september I had already had enough!! With an exception to the reading of the novel, I could of learned 85% of this course by myself...she just reads out of the book. A sweet lady...but the course lacks creativity-would not reccomend to anyone!!

This class is not for the faint of heart, however, I'm not at university to get a degree and learn nothing! The tests are long but if you are prepared they are not unreasonable. I would definately take another class with her. I really learned alot!

I think the only reason she teaches is for the money and the "glory" of publications. She obviously doesn't care about students. Her faculty union only cares about more money and teaching fewer classes.
