Professor Penniman is amazing! She really cares about her students and is willing to help you outside of class if you need help. She is the best professor I have ever had. She presents the material in an understanding manner and her lectures are awesome. I would take her class again in a heartbeat!

The most amazing woman I have ever met in my life, genuinely cares for you and wants you to succeed, will even go out of her way to make you feel motivated and confident about the subject. Math is hard but she will make you understand it in a way, that you even might have fun doing it.

I never thought I would enjoy college level math! Everyone has to take a college level math so you might as well get a good professor for it! I have severe test anxiety and she taught the class so well that I found myself totally prepared. Also, when pearson (website for hw,cw and quizzes) would malfunction she would extend the due dates

Penniman is truly a lifesaver. This woman actually CARES about you, your grades, and your personal wellbeing. She will help you no matter what it takes, and she's very patient, too. Words cannot describe how much she has helped me, both in math, and with my personal problems. She will help you, she'll listen to you, and she'll always encourage you.

She was a great teacher with high energy. I am not great with math and had never taken any kind of Calculus before. She really helped me a lot and was still able to help me pass (barely). It wasn't her fault. The information was so hard and that's why I struggled. She really is a great professor.

Mrs. Penniman is an AMAZING professor, I'm not sure were to start, but this woman is an angel, she genuinely care about everyone in the math lab, she is not my professor, but have helped me tremendously on countless occasions, she wants everyone to succeed, unlike some math professors in the lab who do nothing but gossip and discriminate. real MVP.

I took Jennifer Penniman's course a spring semester ago. I must say it was very helpful me. Compared to before being taught be Professor Stewart. Penniman is a must professor to take. However, I will say she came overbook with loads of responsibilities. She's a wonderful Math professor for beginning and college level. Get while you can.............

I took this class in Spring 2011 and I must say that Mrs. Penniman is by far the best math teacher ever. She takes time to connect with students and will help each student with the material. HCC's Math department really needs to take a lesson in teaching from her. Lastly, show up to every class it is will worth it,and also it fills up fast.

I love her, nothing more to say. Seriously the best math teacher at HCC. She took an hour of her own time in the math lab to help me with problems I didn't know how to do. In within that hour I learned a lot. I retoke my exam at the end of the semester went from a E to an A because of her help. If you want to do well take her class.
