Comment:

Steve Brusca was one of the best two teachers that Humboldt State had. And HSU has had their share of good teachers. Steve just leaps across the bar beyond good to excellent. Humboldt should be ashamed of letting this one "get away".

Comment:

The most AMAZING class I've ever taken. Both of his classes (Cosmos & Descriptive Astronomy) changed my life in all aspects. I am now a teacher and strive to be as great as Brusca. You get out of it what you put into it but you'll never want to miss his lectures anyway. Best one man show on the planet. Oh yeah and it is true - the man is hot. Very easy to pay attention to him!

Steven P. (Stone) Brusca is AMAZING! I wanted to marry him, and the topic was so interesting! And he did such an amazing job at make class so so fun and explaining the topic clearly and in a way you'll understand. He's amazing guys, amazing!

probably the only teacher i've ever had that is as inspired and thorough as stone. he is very transparent in his teaching, and he tries to cover all bases as much as possible. it is quite absurd that the general public doesn't have this knowledge of the workings of the universe. do yourself a favor and take this class :)

I have never met someone who took one of Steve's classes and didn't rave about it at every opportunity. He provides the perfect model for dynamic, engaging lectures. Fabulous, amazingly smart, and how many brilliant physicists can effectively explain quantam, string theory, and relativity to troglodytes? It's a hard class (and I found very few of my classes difficult or challenging), as it should be...but I guarantee, you'll feel your brain growing everyday!

Cosmos was the most entertaining and enlightening class I took during my two years at Humboldt. Brusca is an amazing guy, and most certainly not "stuck on himself." He relates his life experiences appropriately, sparingly, and with humor.

This class is over rated. The Prof is nice, but totally stuck on himself. He is so caught up in trying to be hip and cool that it gets to be ridiculous. The in class demonstrations are worth the ticket price.

Of my six years at Humboldt State, Brusca's classes were my favorite. I found his classes to be entertaining and engaging. I recommend his astronomy and cosmos classes to EVERYONE. They aren't overexagerating when they say the classes will blow your mind.
