Comment:

Wears Ed Hardy like everyday. Easy class and grades semi-easy on your performances. It's a good class to take to knock out a requirement on the IGETC. No prior acting experience is needed for this class, most people just have fun with it. Take it if you can.

John was my absolute favorite teacher. I took him for acting fundamentals 1 and drama and acting. He's absolutely the most easy going and laid back teacher ever. Always expects the best out of his students and makes you try and will put you out of your environment a bit. His class is always fun and exciting. Genuinely cares for each student. I will ALWAYS recommend him!

He is the coolest teacher you will ever meet. He is really chill and awesome. If you dont know how to act, dont worry about it cause he will see if you're tryin or not. All that he really asks you to do is to memorize a few lines, and thats it. When not workin on your actin, you could actually have a cool conversation with him. Definitely take him.

He is the best teacher I have ever had. I know he knows what he is talking about. I know he loves what he does. I know he loves his students. To me, that makes all the difference. It's a really fun class for beginners or for somewhat experienced actors. Don't buy the text books before class he will tell you which plays to buy.

First of all, everyone always looked forward to what John would be wearing each time the class met. No one can match his style. Second of all, you really get to bond and make friends in his class. If you're willing to just be yourself and get into it, you'll really enjoy his class! He's also really easy to have a normal conversation with.

too much memorization and no choice in what you get to perform, all boring material. you wont really learn much about acting, just go through the motions. Nice enough and willing to answer questions. Dresses like a 16 year old gangster.

Easy laid back class, but I didn't learn anything :( I don't know anymore about acting than I did when the class began except where stage left and stage right are. Sort of a waste of time.
