Comment:

Helpful, personable & wants his students to pass. Always accessible outside class, fair grader (drops lowest grade exam), assigns lots of hmwk but you dont need to turn it in. if you dont do hmwk, you''ll wish you did during exam. He makes test from hmwk. If you skip, do your hmwk. Had him for Math 148 & 111. He makes math fun & jokes in class.

Comment:

Had him for Math 111. It's hard to NOT pass his class; he makes you aware of what he expects of you and what would be most beneficial in passing his class. DO the homework! Most of the questions on his tests are literally questions in the homework.

He's the best professor I've had at this college. The class was super clear and understandable, and he's nice and tries to help anyone that needs it. I didn't use the textbook but I still got an A. Plus, he would sometimes tell funny dad jokes, which are always amazing.

I had Tom for math and he was the first math teacher who actually taught me math. He was amazing. If you were lost all you had to do was ask a question and hed be more than happy to help you!! Best teacher at the college so far!

He's one of the best math teachers, very direct and forward with teaching. He gives out worksheets and you have to show them to him to get credit but later in the class he just grades the worksheets by attendance. So be cautious and always do the worksheet ASAP. He will definitely help you if you ask for it. Very nice. Can let loose and be funny.

Professor Kuester is a great math teacher and an all around great guy. His lectures and notes are very detailed and very helpful. He lets you use a note card on the test to remember formulas. (I took math 146) He is willing to give extra credit and can joke around. He is available in the learning center for homework help everyday.

Kuester is a great teacher and gives great examples. He's the best math teacher I have ever had. Don't talk during class or you will get some crap!! Great guy..I wouldn't want another math teacher after having him for statistics

Let's get this out of the way; Kuester is HOT. Super hot. He would always come out and play hacky sack with us in between classes, and he was really good at it! He's funny in class and is very patient. He's very good at explaining concepts, and uses stories and comparisons to make you remember. Highly recommend. Really nice guy. Great teacher.

Comment:

I find Professor Kuester to be the clearest math teacher at GHC. He is interested in his subject, very clear and complete in presentation, and nearly error-free on the board. The Precalculus book is not so good. Some chapters are great and some lack crucial information. A supplemental precalc book was a big help; I wish I had bought it sooner.
