great teacher; gives you until the end of the semester do to all the work; didn't do anything until the end and I ended up with a B+; he is so easy going and when he teaches he goes into his personal life which helps you understand. first and last test are in class the middle 3 are take hom and he drops the lowest test grade. except the last exam!!

You have 8 case studies, 8 video essays, the videos are an hour each, you have to do 125 activities on my psych lab, and the final exam is a 12 page research paper. His tests are 100 problems, he curves them, if you work hard to get an 89 (no one ever gets an A) it will curve to a C. His stories are irrelevant, it always runs 5 to 15 minutes late

He does help you if you ask questions/e-mail him. His stories are bizarre. Tremendous workload - 3-100 question take home tests, 2 in class, 11 1-hour videos to watch outside of class with a paper for each, 3 article reviews, MyPsychLab work, and 8 case studies. His power points are terrible, and do not help with the tests. Every test has a curve.

Overall nice guy, just a horrible teacher. He assigns tests off of an internet resource which he DOESN'T cover in class. I like to think of myself as an overall good student, though I would constantly get C+'s on his tests. However, I had received A's on all my other tests for other classes. If you can avoid taking him, do so.

a veteren psychologist who knows his subject well and works to see his students pass. tells lots of stories related to the subject at hand that will keep anyone interest in abnormal psych laughing. class consists of a mix of online work that is easy to complete,5tests(3tests are take home) which he does curve big time, and few case study reviews.

he's a very nice guy but gets off topic and tells too many stories. 3 of 5 tests are take home but are extremely invalid in a sense that almost none of the answers can be found in the notes and you have to use a lot of outside sources to find the answers. This class is very time consuming because of the amount of work he assigns.

Very nice man. Rambles a bit and includes personal stories, but he is kind, helpful and encouraging. I learned a lot from this class.

Mr. Rosella is a very nice guy. I had him for abn. psych. His tests are totally different from what he actually covers in class. He gave 3 articles to review, 8 case studies, homework assignments online, about 12 videos that are all 1 hour long to watch & write a critique on, a 10-12 page research paper, & all of his tests are 100 questions each.

Such a cute professor. Uses alot of funny stories. Basically reads off a slideshow, but moves through it very quickly & it is not available online. Basically, if you show up to class and do the work, you will get an A. He grades on completion not correctness when it comes to assignments. You can get points back on tests by doing corrections. Like!

Comment:

Great professor! Uses a lot of stories in his lessons, but keeps your interest. Very understanding and helpful with test questions and homework assignments. Take notes from powerpoints and from the book. Tests can be hard, but 3 out of 5 were take home tests. He even dropped the lowest grade. Passed with an A. I strongly recommend him.

Greatest professor ever!!!! He is so helpful and has so much knowledge to share with his students. Very easy on letting you hand in assignments whenever is most convenient for you. I have had this professor for two different Psychology classes and I have to say he is the best in BCCC I had him for personal awareness and abnormal psychology.

Dr. Rosella is very easy and very knowledgable. He has been practicing psychology for a long time and really knows his stuff. Most of the test are take homes and he is always willing to help you out if you need it. Deffinitly take him if you get the chance!!!

I loved him. Very interesting man. extermly intellegent. We did fall behide & took tests home. The tests could have 2 right answers which was tricky but he curves all in-class tests 70% become 90% it was great. Must do assigments but can be turned in late. Don't go to BCCC w/out taking Rosella. He is my Hero! He tells funnny stories & is So smart.
